So, in general with chastity, what tips and advice are there when wearing a belt for long term? I just want to make sure I'll be okay with everything
How to do long term wear?

Three suggestions come to my mind quickly, quite obvious and not very revealing:
1) The belt must fit you perfectly. If you have a Chinese belt, it will be difficult, because although you can usually adjust it to some extent, there are limits to it. I was lucky that my dad modified the belt very much. Without it, I wouldn't be able to wear it for more than a few hours.
2) Do not exaggerate with the length of wearing. The body gets used to it gradually. If the belt hurts or rubs you, take it off and wait until your skin heals before wearing it again.
3) Take care of hygiene - try to wash your belt and body as often as possible. Forget wearing a belt during your period.
Can someone add something?

Sabina Okay I'm already doing/have done all 3 of those, so i think that's good! My current idea for periods is to wear period underwear over the belt, because it absorbs anything that comes out (and I dont really bloat, ever), and it seems to work fairly well if I need to wear it. But otherwise I will try and see if I can be unlocked during my periods
Update: I am allowed to unlock and clean during my periods regardless of the 1 hour cleaning unlock I already get, so that'd be good
Seems ideal. Who's the KH?

Dear @CutiedeTahlia , I wear chastity belts for nearly 20 years now. So yes, long term wear is possible. But I would recommend cleaning breaks 2x a day taking lots of effort on your hygiene, skin and cleaning your cb. Put the belt sometimes in the dish washer. Longer periods of continuous wearing are hard. I had them very seldomly when my husband was away. The longest was seven days or so. Then you need much of extra time bathing or in the shower. But these times are horrible! Try to avoid, even 24 hours!
With extra care, also wearing a cb when bleeding is no problem. Search the forum for advices. For me personally, thin rectangular inserts like the Abena Abri-Let fit under my secondary shield. They are meant as boosters for diapers or pads for women in childbed. The benefit is, that they contain no foil and glue, so they slip quiet easily under the shield. Together with a pull-up, I fell secure during my special days.
Most important is, that you wear a good fitting belt. But this will cost a lot of money. And when it is not adjustable any more, buy a new one. I am currently wearing my third belt.
However, keep in mind that chastity always depends on trust. Doing un-chaste things and unpermitted release would be a thing of 10-15 minutes. But I would never do this and my husband knows and trusts (but would never trust me without a cb, so I wear it for him ;-) )
CutiedeTahlia Well, there are just three point that you need to accomplish:
- Having a belt that fits you really good.
- Having regulat surveilled cleaning breaks
- Having a keyholder who is strong enough to resist your begging for release
Josephine The belt I have fits really well, its comfortable enough to just leave on for a bit and I don't have any real complaints about it so thats really good! I'm actually surprised given how 'low quality' its meant to be . What works for me is having a daily shower and washing how I can under the belt every day. Yet to see if the 1 hour unlock each week for better cleaning works but it seems to be alright so far. As for periods, I usually wear period underwear and shower twice a day (as well as changing the underwear but thats kind of a given) and that seems to work well enough, at least based on how it went during my period before
Max9 I think I'm good on the first 2, idk if the last one will be much of an issue for me because I'm mostly in this by choice I think (idk if choice is the right word actually, but im contempt with it)
