I think the double Ds serve two purposes: a) as Ines said, the possibility of locking a block piece (bolt) through both for a strict bondage experience, or b) threading the chain through all four D rings plus the crotch D ring, creating a restrictive mechanism for sitting down or crouching.
How are the connection chains attached when having 2 D rings at the thighband?
Ines I feel like thigh bands quickly start blurring that line the shorter the chain between them gets. At moderate lengths, I can somewhat understand the security improvement arguments (not safety, mobility restriction is always a hazard), but when it comes to extreme restrictions like only a padlock or even a block piece, I cannot ignore the restraint aspect anymore.

youdontknowme but when it comes to extreme restrictions like only a padlock or even a block piece, I cannot ignore the restraint aspect anymore.
It is never used as primary system, even this usage was discarded explicitly in my home.
However even restrictive it is a safety tool, a hateful one, no doubt, but not related with other terms as "Bondage".
If we allow that such terms spread in various threads, we only will achieve more trolls.
I am considering the 2 D rings over one as you can use the block piece. But looping the chain is a bit more hassle i think. How would you loop it?
And what I heard is that when doing the chain in a certain way, when sitting down, the legs are โforcedโ together. That is what I am looking for, as that is perfect use for me. So the question is if it is better with one or 2 D rings to achieve that.
That is absolutely true, the hassle is just once a day probably. As I heard that some girls wear them 24/7, so even maybe less than that!
So I can assume the 2 D ring is the best option than for the option of closing the legs automaticly when sitting down?
And how is the loop going? I was thinking, even 2 inverted V loops is possible, but to spread the tension even it would be maybe a big loop to all 4 and than in rhe middle to the crotch D ring?
If you understand what I mean
