What motivates a willing, or even reluctant wearer of a chastity device (and accessories if applicable), to give up control of what some might consider the most important part of their being?

Yay! I found out how to start a new topic. (It was staring me in the face … so obviously I didn’t see it 😅 Lol)

In my own case my motivation was simply that I wanted to give a gift to my partner who had saved my life and gave me a million reasons to live and continue in my career. We had already lived together a long time and the truth is our relationship was becoming a little stale. I wanted to freshen it up and reward her for the umpteen years she put up with me. In fact, I would gladly have given up my life for her if it were possible and necessary to save her, but obviously such is never really possible. The next best thing was the most valuable thing I owned: my sexual being.

Of course, it turned out not to be so easy to get her to accept my gift! In her words, it was “an insanely stupid idea” - smiles. It was only through determined persistence, over a five-year period, that I finally got her to grudgingly give my idea a try. Some might wonder why she resisted, after all she could just take my keys and it wasn’t such a big deal for her.

But in fact, it turned out it was a much a commitment for her as it was for me. She became completely responsible for my safety, comfort and yes, even my happiness. The result was it created a connection between us that was unbreakable. It strengthened our relationship far beyond my wildest imaginings. It made our lives so much more wonderful. 😁

So that is us.

I would so love to learn what other motivations others might have to wear these devices, willingly or even reluctantly. And if reluctantly, what drives the “bargain” of accepting something that you consider less than ideal?
