You were these situations yourself, you or someone else fucked up and somthing went horribly wrong. now you got the mess on your hands but you cannot tell anyone because either you are too afraid or to proud to do so. I can think about a million situations a young girl in her age could have gotten herself into.

There are reasons why there are psychologists, that specialise in treating minors and teenagers, they have special methodes they can use to earn their trust. I strongly suggest you hire such a person to figure out what is wrong with her, especially before you put a belt on her. It might safe your relationship and her life.

Also why the hell a belt? If she is such a rebel she will figure out that it will take minutes to lockpick it or seconds to cut it open. The only way you can prevent her from doing such a thing, is my making her a Belt that cannot be open'd once locked, but that isn't really possible for various reasons.

Therapists are their own industry and maybe if someone has Persistent Genital Arousal (PGA) illness they could get help from a physician. But just being out of control is a completely different thing.
You and your wife sound like a saint compared to some worse cases where there is hitting and arguing.
Take you time and have your wife very involved. It might not be a bad idea for the wife to lead by example all mothers here should. It is the only way to understand how to measure, fit, walk, run, do the splits, sit comfortably, go to the bathroom and all other things.

James A girl should be able to have the belt off for something reasonable - if not that is abuse, honestly.

Sorry, I don't understand, What do you mean by "what kind"? If you mean the model, there are no logos on the belt, so I dont know what model it is. if you mean what type of belt, then im not sure because I don't know what different belt types are there (I only know about hip and waist belts, i have a hip belt). Where can I look to know the type?

amber Than just describe it. How does the lock look like? Do you have a secondary shield?

Laura The waistband is made from metal with soft plastic around it (the metal is outside, the skin only touches the plastic). The waistband is on the hips, so I think it's a hip-type belt. In the front on the middle there's a thing with a lock that locks the left and the right parts of the waistband with the tip of the middle part that goes between legs. (it's impossible to put the belt on or off without unlocking it). The middle part starts with the part attached to the lock that's also metal with plastic but more wide, then it turns into a "dome" that completely covers uh... my private parts, and has a slightly raised metal sheet with a bunch of holes (i think that's the secondary shield? it doesn't look removable though). After that there's a metal cable that connects all of that to the back of the waistband.

So far I only have to wear it at home, which makes it much easier, but i'm still so annoyed by the "reason" I have to wear it in the first place - its so stupid.
