Just read up on what that is, and it looks like it is a publisher of homeschooling and classroom materials that caters to science-denying fundamentalists. Since your religious and intellectual values are quite different and you do not appear to be a fan of your belt, I take it you are currently stuck in an overbearing family situation. Would be interesting whether you are looking for an escape or willing to stay out of love for other family members. Or maybe it is economic pressures keeping you in line? Your dedication to aunthood suggests that you are trying to counterbalance the effects your parents' religious values might have on the future of their grandchildren.
I would say you are definitely fighting for a good cause here, but it would be interesting to hear about the battles, rather than just the fronts and a few melees.

Of course politics can get quite frustrating, especially in a place as polarized as your home. This forum sorta segregates political discussions behind an opt-in role, one I have chosen not to get myself since before that happened, there were some views being shared here that threatened my composure. If you want, I am open to that sort of discussion on off-platform chat if you are ever interested in joining the Discord server, and I think there are many things we can agree upon even if I am a (relatively young and living) white male and our views may not be 100% identical for this and other reasons.
My sister in law is x LDS and I have heard from her how difficult that can be to navigate. I hope you have an easier time than she did sorting through that.
My condolences to her. I know some people on the outside. End results are regional specific. If you get out of their stranglehold locations, it boils down to a polite annual visit from 2 cycle-weilding Jesus reps who happen to know your name. They are easy enough to dispatch.
Family is another matter. Which is why I am applying every stratagem in the interim that will increase my long-term prospects.

I gladly stand by the feminist cause as an ally when it comes to eliminating double standards on gender, and I stand against those who want to instrumentalize it as a vessel for misandry and transphobia.
By the way, would you consider yourself GSRM yourself or did you bring that up primarily as an example of a civil rights movement that benefitted from allies?
