Mostly talking body shape and grooming standards. But I also do not aim to be desired sexually (or romantically), though I do think I am roughly aware of what parts of my looks and personality are attractive/unattractive.

maybe you really are, especially in men, mental maturity increases enormously with age. Women are often still attracted to men who can lead, and an older man can definitely do that better than a younger one
