ok i have a keyholder now! they're just there to fix settings and make sure the lock works properly though, like lowering how long my hygiene unlock is!

Ines she was using a website called chaster.app, where you can have other people vote on the time you have to spend in a chastity device. She shared the link here and a bunch of people voted "longer".
There is a website called charter where you can ask anyone to decide how long you have to be in chastity. Everyone can log and add or remove a day
Octavia posted the link and it seems a lot of people added, going over 100 (I suppose so. Haven’t checked by myself)

The very worse is that it is normalizing an absolute lack of higyene.
Ines I think you can set up a provision for time-limited hygiwne unlocks. A lot of it is honor system.
youdontknowme i have hygiene unlocks set up, shes just annoyed because the lock i made for me that im using for me has hygiene unlocks tailored for me, and not ones that will work for everyone instead

Now I stepped in because the Chaster lock went out of control. So I offered OctaviaSunwilds to be her key holder and she gladly accepted. She told me what she wanted and I have set the lock accordingly. Cleaning breaks are scheduled as well. If there is an emergency I can make sure she gets unlocked immediately.
OctaviaSunwilds had added possibility to vote to add extra time or reduce the time. So there was a link for that purpose and OctaviaSunwilds did publish that link. And then a lot of time was added, far more than she had bargained for. Now that link does not exist anymore and the voting has ended. There is a new link but OctaviaSunwilds has to think carefully if she wants to publish that or keep it to herself.
The nice thing of Chaster.app is that one can have a key holder anywhere in the world without knowing each other. Of course that is a risk as well because the KH may lock one up forever and walk away when he/she has bad ideas. There are possibilities to limit the risk but most people who create their first lock don't know that. Unfortunately the developers of Chaster don't want to change it.
The lock is configured according OctaviaSunwilds wishes. Also cleaning breaks are scheduled at a regular interval so that is covered as well. And she has told me at what calendar date she wants to be free for sure and we'll make that happen.
How does the lock work? You need a key safe with number lock with many digits so you won't remember the code once set and locked. I think it can be anything up to 16 digits. That number remains hidden until one is allowed to release. If it is a cleaning break there is a time limit. One has to be locked again before it expires. A new code is generated for the key safe and one can lock oneself in (and forget the code).
Hope this clarifies a bit what happened, how Chaster works, and control is restored now.
