I am moving up some topics, due I see people writing in Introduction topic without search in forum.
So I am making easier for them find some topics.
Keys location
@Ines, Angelina is going to wonder what happened when she gets back - so many old threads to reply to.
Ines I think that to be permanently remembering the girl "eh, your key is here, just break a plastic", is even cruel.
How do you have an emergency key but not know where it is? Or you just not have one?
Jen Or you just not have one?
It is very dangerous do not have an emergency key. We have all our belts emergency key in my home's safe.
My parents have the code, and even the code is in an envelope in safes in my mother's business and in my father office.
So, always are available if are necessary.
Since the original topic was "Keys Location" (which I never saw before - ), I thought I would answer the original question since some may find it of interest.
There are several sets of keys to my belt and thigh bands. The only set that has ever gotten used are on a gold chain around my partners neck. The other sets are (with one exception) in special envelopes that have been sealed with wax with an impression of a ring that my partner wears. One set is in the glove box of each of our cars, there is a set in my handbag and a set in a drawer in the kitchen. These envelopes have never been opened since we made them. There is a final set that was added fairly recently. They are in a lockbox that is fastened to a post in the garden. In the event of an emergency I could also text my partner and she would give me the combination so I could retrieve them if I were home and she wasn't.
Obviously all these spare keys exist my for my safety (and presumably to keep a local lock smith in business ) but as far as I am concerned they do not exist. I am a willing wearer; only interested in my partners decisions regarding any locking or unlocking. The spare keys are not even a slight temptation.
Ines Thank you for moving up.
I read the posting and I have to say the change for a situation where you need immediately the key for your thighs band has increased. At the flood area the mobile system didn't work.A call was not possible to get the combination for the safe. It could end deadly if you couldn't swim.
For me one key is in my locker at work... I use this for hygiene openings etc but it stays at work and I don't regard it as an escape route.
"My" key is in a lockbox at home. Who has the combination to the lockbox depends on the situation... sometimes me, sometimes not.
And finally I have an emergency key at my best friend's house, but if I ask for that one there are consequences.
So even though I take my belt off for work some days, I still regard the one in the lockbox as the only way to get a release.
I was surprised there was so many threads with new answers, too!
Ines It is very dangerous do not have an emergency key.
I agree. It's very important to have an emergency key for all the locks.
Joh the mobile system didn't work
That's why mine are in a box with a plastic lock(with serial numbers)that I can cut quickly,in case I need these and can't call my parents(or if they don't answer).
Sin if I ask for that one there are consequences.
Which ones?
LoonyMel yes but I like my hair now... I'm going to a wedding later in the year and I don't want to look like a freak!
We actually made that rule aaaages ago when I was thinking about shaving it but I was too terrified to actually do it. I thought that might be a fun way to get there. So the punishment still stands and I consider that an actual emergency key, it's my backup backup.
Jen Angelina is going to wonder what happened when she gets back - so many old threads to reply to.
you are right, but i have already answered most of the old threads, so i will rather read more and look at your new ideas
at this point i can also write briefly how we did it on my holiday. my father gave me a sealed envelope, in which there were two more envelopes, one for the belt and one for the bra (also sealed). i had to send him a foro every evening that the envelopes were closed, but i had access to the keys in case of emergency.
Laura She did it already
how is that supposed to work? today i am online for the first time in 8 days

Hard and humiliating one!
I agree.
But sometimes,it is hard to manage to not cut the lock!
So,even if you have no other solution to get the key,you still have to do that?

Good way to deal with it.
What if it was opened?Have to go back home immediately?Otherwise,he could have checked it when back at home.
Angelina i haven't read everything in detail because otherwise i would spend the whole night here
I may have to skip a few threads too.
Vanessa So,even if you have no other solution to get the key,you still have to do that?
That was the plan! It was to make sure I played safe and kept my wits me, and didn't put myself in a vulnerable situation. I've had short hair for most of this year so it's not such a huge deal anymore. But I still don't want to be bald right now. Maybe one day though! It gives me butterflies just thinking about it.
