Jen @Ines, Angelina is going to wonder what happened when she gets back - so many old threads to reply to.

šŸ¤£

I was surprised there was so many threads with new answers, too!šŸ˜‰

Ines It is very dangerous do not have an emergency key.

I agree. It's very important to have an emergency key for all the locks.

Joh the mobile system didn't work

That's why mine are in a box with a plastic lock(with serial numbers)that I can cut quickly,in case I need these and can't call my parents(or if they don't answer).

Sin if I ask for that one there are consequences.

Which ones?

    Sin
But I remember you said you did already... And that you felt great too xD

LoonyMel yes but I like my hair now... I'm going to a wedding later in the year and I don't want to look like a freak!

We actually made that rule aaaages ago when I was thinking about shaving it but I was too terrified to actually do it. I thought that might be a fun way to get there. So the punishment still stands and I consider that an actual emergency key, it's my backup backup.

      Good solution.
Safety first should be for every key holder mandatory.

        Ines generous keyholder

Potentially my partner would be likely to be one, once Iā€™m belted.

Well, my reason for belting (in close future) is lot different with others here (dealing with my dysphoria)ā€¦

Sin If it is a real emergency do you still have to shave?

        • Sin replied to this.

Jen well back in January I lost the pic I took of my lockbox and I had to do it then, but I had a buzzcut at the time. If it was a medical emergency or something dangerous I'd like to think she has my back (but she would probably hold me to it eventually!).

Jen Angelina is going to wonder what happened when she gets back - so many old threads to reply to.

šŸ¤£ you are right, but i have already answered most of the old threads, so i will rather read more and look at your new ideas šŸ˜‰

at this point i can also write briefly how we did it on my holiday. my father gave me a sealed envelope, in which there were two more envelopes, one for the belt and one for the bra (also sealed). i had to send him a foro every evening that the envelopes were closed, but i had access to the keys in case of emergency.

Laura She did it already šŸ˜‚

how is that supposed to work? today i am online for the first time in 8 days

I meant you did it before after 3 weeks šŸ˜‚

I did and I have to say I used it for as long then as it does today, the froum is growing extremely. i haven't read everything in detail because otherwise i would spend the whole night here šŸ˜‚

                  Sin

                  Hard and humiliating one!

                  Joh

                  I agree.

But sometimes,it is hard to manage to not cut the lock!šŸ˜‰

                  Sin

So,even if you have no other solution to get the key,you still have to do that?

Good way to deal with it.

What if it was opened?Have to go back home immediately?Otherwise,he could have checked it when back at home.

I may have to skip a few threads too.

Vanessa So,even if you have no other solution to get the key,you still have to do that?

That was the plan! It was to make sure I played safe and kept my wits me, and didn't put myself in a vulnerable situation. I've had short hair for most of this year so it's not such a huge deal anymore. But I still don't want to be bald right now. Maybe one day though! It gives me butterflies just thinking about it.

Vanessa What if it was opened?

i also had an empty envelope with a seal. i should have put the key in there after the emergency, sealed it and sent a photo to my father. šŸ˜‰

I'll do that too, in some it's just too much, especially because I have to translate everything first.

I guess you would have to explain very well why you needed to open it,in such circumstances, right?

Vanessa I guess you would have to explain very well why you needed to open it,in such circumstances, right?

right and if the reason is not sufficient i will be punished severely (just as severely as if i would break open the belt). however, we clearly talked about what acceptable reasons are before the holiday

                          Angelina

Hard, but logical it would be the same punishment than breaking/lockpicking it.

Good you take care to discuss the possible reasons.

Vanessa Good you take care to discuss the possible reasons.

of course and had there been an emergency i could have called my father before opening the envelope to be sure šŸ™‚

I think a good solution is to have a spare key in a closed envelope that can't be opened without noticing in a box that is locked with a kind of seal that can be destroyed easily but not on accident.
I have talked with Daniel how we want to handle it after wedding and our plan is to do it like this and if I open the box in any other situation then a severe emergency, he will decline to be my keyholder for at least a year. So it's a double proof that everything is like it should be.

                              That's surprising.
Does this mean that if you open the box without an emergency, he will give you the key? You have one year to find out how you want to go on and if you have a future together.
Or will he give the key to your father?
The first case make sense and give you the freedom to see if you find a way for you both how you will continue or not.
