My parents don't think it is very different...They mainly think I should not decide how to act based on how other people act,no matter the situation.

For example,if they told me to come back at home after a party at 2 AM,even if my friends have no curfew,I should follow my rule,and not act like my friends,staying out all night.

currently my curfew is 10pm during the week, on weekends i don't have one anymore. my father said that i won't have a curfew at the age of 18 as long as i always send a message after 10pm at least once per hour

10 pm is a bit soon,as you can't even watch the end of a movie,or two episodes of a TV show,but no curfew on week-ends is cool.Does it apply to party too?

And no more curfew soon,good too.In my case,I guess I would have one as long as I live in their house..🙁

i can also film and watch tv shows at home, the 10pm is just the time when i have to be at home

Exactly,and they would not accept I only tell them I'm old enough to not have curfew or bedtime,and if I insist too much(even more with no good arguments)after a "No.",it would easily lead to a punishment(I could ask,and I did,but they never accepted to cancel these rules).

It is surprising;it would have been more logical if it was less restricted.

More logical.It was a bit the case for Ivana's daughters;when they accept to wear a chastity belt,one of the privileges they get were an later curfew.
