But you know, there comes a point with food, alcohol, drugs, sex, masturbation, gambling and even something like pride, where genuine need become self-gratification, selfishness, and addiction. It's true, most people don't fall into this trap, but having climbed out of addiction both my wife and I appreciate the security of my belt!

                          but just like the points you mentioned, all these things can also be possible for former addicts. of course, it has to happen in a controlled way, but it is not impossible.

                              Angelina From my own life experience I'd always recommend complete abstinence for a recovering or recovered alcoholic, gambler etc.
                              Life is rich and varied. When you've found such a serious and life-threatening weakness within yourself and worked hard to address it, I think it's better to seek pleasure in other things!

                                      Angelina Wearers often report that chastity belts give them a feeling of protection and care. I feel this very strongly, even though in my case it's mostly protection against myself. Anything less than a complete ban and I wouldn't feel protected, and more than this, I wouldn't feel understood.
                                      Though other people do fine with it, overall, masturbation has not been a positive thing in my life. Chastity, on the other hand, that's just been great and I really do wish I'd worn a chastity belt my whole adult life.
                                      Is chastity for everyone? No. But it should be an option for everyone in my opinion.

                                          I would add that I think banning it completely can be a way to solve it,but after it is solved,it should be allowed again;however,as you say,it should be controlled;

                                          Except alcohol(and drugs,I think):it these addictions are solved,it should stay banned.If someone who was alcoholic and solved it drink even a sip of alcohol again,his addiction can resume immediately.

                                                      Hi there again. I was too busy the last time to answer here. So as i see there are so different opinions about my belt, but anyway a have to say i almost cut it. It turns out i was using the saw unproperly. I almost cut it in its front part, now i need only to cut it in a place where the belt touches my skin.

                                                        Ally You can at least put some sheet metal between your skin and the tool, like at least something very slim and tough. Credit cards if you have nothing else. Cover your eyes and don't let the tool bounce or get caught, be able to stop the tool if it gets stuck, the worst that could happen is a tool gets stuck between you and your belt and keeps running to cut into you.

                                                        I don't approve of this at least you could get a man you trust to help out for safety???

                                                                i would still recommend talking to your mother, if she really will not remove the belt under any circumstances, i would go to a professional. the risk of injury is too high.

                                                                            Ally Hacksaws can still give you a nasty cut, so the point is be careful.

                                                                            Have you talked to your mom? How will mom react to see you cut it off @Ally ?
