Actually a good idea - if one and his partner wesrs a belt installing a gps tracker would always let your partner know where you currently are.

No court in the western world would ever be allowed to do something like that. I would think this could happen in Saudi Arabia or some country like this, but definitely not in the us.

I don't think the story is true either, but if there is one democracy in the world that I would trust to do this, it is the US.

Not to shock, good old USA has not ratified many treaties/conventions related to Human Rights.

Furthermore, the USA has the ugly tendency to apply what basic rights protections its laws/constitution might provide only to its citizens/residents. That's significant different from the EU, where the basic rights and human rights apply basically to anyone.

(not that our authorities don't love to ignore these if they can get away with it, notice how Frontex and EU MS can play games about who was in command of illegal pushbacks at the EU border for years: If it was Frontex, well it can only be sued in EU courts, MS authorities OTOH, only in MS courts, in some extreme cases they are nearing a decade of excuses and not properly remembering who was in command of which detail of the operation.)

I don't know, but I am pretty sure death penalty is legal and forcing to wear a chastity belt is not.

Laura Lol. Nah, not even close. I truly have no idea if this true, but, some part of this one is I feel.

However, my point here is there is a lot of documented shady stuff that happens in out of the way places in the US, an even parts of the EU and other such regions and countries.
