Angelina I think it's depending on the style of the mask. The traditional masks made out of light cement or cardboard with its colourful design have found their place upon the upper class a long time ago already. Mascerade balls have been held since then as a sort of very elegant event, they also became famous at several royal courts.
Of course, the kew st,le of masks made ozt of nylon or cotton in a victorias secret similar style have nothing in common with that old superior traditional ones. The new ones are rather kinky, npt elegant.
But if any ball is being planned I think we should stress that it's a ball in the old tradition of mascerade balls, not the kinky interpretations.
