My partner checks both my self (for hygiene and abrasions etc.) daily and my devices (CB and thigh bands) for hygiene and damage. She makes sure that all locks are operating properly so that in an emergency I could use my keys to free myself. I suppose she doesn't check the locks for scratches or damage but then, since I wear my devices voluntarily, there really isn't any need. 😂

I think it is like in my family or close. No access to the key, means no access to the key. I am not even allowed to touch or look at the key in detail.

It is very important that the wearer do not have any possibility of act over the belt.

Since you also wear a Neosteel belt, does she check if the lower end of your secondary shield is secured properly? Otherwise it's easy to bypass it despite the lock.

The similar psychological reason for me. I shouldn't be able to open the belt myself

I want to be safe from having to think about the belt. When it all started I told her that if she ever gave me the keys, even if I asked for them, I would be heartbroken. She understands this and it is now a near certainty she won't give them to me. I love that.

She does all the locking and unlocking and to be honest, I treasure both moments.
