I think we can't agree without the number of serious users,which would be very hard to know.Even if the manufacturers tell about the number of chastity belts/cages sold,we could not know how many were for serious use...
Tobbe We should not just focus on higher class belts. You have a BIG Chinese market with 1000 of manufactures, who make adjustable belts and cages.
But can these be used for serious use?
But the question is how many of these registered members are serious users...
Joh I don't think so. Most people can read English and if they can't understand a sentence they will use an online translator.

i was in that forum before i found the "predecessor forum misterpoll". but it seemed more like a fetish forum to me, which is why i never registered there.

we need our own studies for this, perhaps a topic for my doctoral thesis in a few years.
But they used it for the initial purpose,not as a fetish or a play?

- saving money if you don't have to buy underwear
- perhaps declining sales for sex toy manufacturers/movie makers etc. -> porn industry
- creating new jobs if chastity devices become more common -> belt makers/designer ,product tests, fashion industry, health industry,...
