about a little more than one million men (assuming equal numbers of women and men in germany) 42 million men /100*2.5 = 1.05 million

I would say even this is to high. I would still substract all male minors (approx 8 millions²). So 36 M/100*2.5 = 900,000 men.
And if you look about how many devices are sold. Remember one male can buy more then one device (e.g. "what have you done if your old belt" ).
And the male customers haven't to be in a heterosexual relationship. I think in the homosexual community chastity devices as play tools a far more existing.

Yes, but we are only a very small group and most people don't know any of us directly. So it's not a big thing. At least some of these man would very likely not be that strict about their privacy. If only 5% would be open about it, I can imagine, that it would mean that this topic would be relatively well known. Every village would have a wearer who is more or less open about it. but i have to disagree with you a little bit, i think we already represent a relatively large part of the people who wear the chastity belt serously. we are relatively easy to find via google and as far as i know we are the only forum where serious wearers are talked about. there are certainly many belt wearers but 80-90% of them are fetishists (my opinion).

This is not visible and therefore easy to think that it does not exist either. A bit like genital piercing. Nothing that is visible either, but occurs significantly more than you can imagine it does.
