Angelina I had a lot to learn the first time a person I was socializing with came out as trans as well. As an advocate for gender blindness and radically equal rights, I had a hard time understanding why a person would want to be defined by their gender.

Many manufacturers of chastity belts have some product line aimed primarily at crossdressing men that may well be suitable for male-to-female transgender people. Neosteel calls it the she-male line, for example. Those typically feature the penis tube of the male belt, but the crotch band has a flat profile similar to a female belt, so it does not leave a masculine shape (the crotch bulge caused by external genitalia) under clothes. Some of them go one step beyond, like FancySteel's Sissy belt, and have a crotch plate in a shape imitating what can only be described as a steel vulva.

carg Those are not the common definition of transgender or transsexual. Transgender and transsexual are fairly hard to distinguish, the way I understand it, transsexuality is pretty much the underlying biological phenomenon (the genitals developed one way, the brain another), whereas transgender is the mental state of considering oneself a different gender identity than the genitals point towards. But I am no expert and may be mistaken on that. But between sex and gender, sex is always the biological/physical part and gender the social one, which does not align with your definition.

carg I have not heard of the opposite, for women who want to have a man's bulge, but there might be belts with an external tube that could also fit a woman's anatomy? Or just put a rolled-up sock in their panties over a female belt?

There are actual items called "packers" that can be placed in underwear to give the lower body a more masculine shape, ranging from cloth cups to silicone penis replicas. Though right now my imagination is running a bit wild... some belts have attachments for a strap-on dildo, and I am kinda imagining a flaccid strap-on now.

carg since their body is made to match their identity, so a transgender girl should be able use a female belt.

but not every transgender person has already had surgery.

Rina Chastity belt manufacturers like Fancy Steel or Access Denied markets it as "shemale" / "sissy" belt, which I don't like wording of their marketing, though.

Probably they name it this way as chastity belts are mainly marketed for fetishists.

you should be open with it, you are open about your gender identity so the same should apply to the belt. being chaste has no specific gender

Ah, OK. I concluded from your previous post that they were not attached at all, and you relied purely on the tightness of the bands and stickiness of the silicone to keep them in place, and I couldn't imagine that was very escape-proof. But connected to a corset seems like a good solution too (as long as you can't remove the corset either of course )
Does this also mean that you wear the bands relatively high up your thighs? That would make the 4cm chain more doable.

Daphne That is quite the setup. I'm glad you are doing it voluntarily, because being forced to wear your equipment would be even harder.
You're lucky to have found a keyholder who supports it all, but also, as far as I can tell, doesn't pressure you to do more.

P.S. I'm sorry if me bringing up the situation with your gender was not really something you wanted to talk about. I wanted to understand your situation better, but perhaps you just want to be seen as a girl, and not constantly explain about your birth gender.
