      Joh I used to think I could walk about the streets in safety. Boys would chat me up but I never thought I was in any danger (I had faith in my fellow man.) That all changed when people did hurt me so now I wear a belt and place my faith in that.

                      I once read that the insurance companies do not normally cover such things, but it could look different if the hymen was destroyed by rape.

                              First of all it is an hoax, a lie, a ruse. We are not talking of resetting time and memories, we are talking of, simply, construct an artificial membrane with no purpose other than be a physical virgin while not being really someone who never had sex before, so basically we are talking about tricking other people (because you know that it is not true that you never had sex in first person, so the only one who will believe it is your lover).

                              In case you do not tell it to your partner, your partner is getting tricked. In case you do tell him, he will know it will only be a physical presence with no meaning, so in both case there is no real virginity or meaning.

                              What is worse is that it is not always nice to have to lacerate it. It can cause pain and bleeding, and i will personally not be glad to make my lover bleed or suffer if avoidable. Imagine to hear "I lost it but i placed it back so you can make me bleed and suffer again!". Borderline psycopath? Supreme fundamentalist? Magic pratictioner? I will be a little scared of a similar person (which by no means will be virgin anyway so the main goal is unreachable).

                              Bottom line: restored hymen doesn't mean that someone gets back her first time. First time is gone (luckily).
                              It also does not mean anything. There are virgins without hymen and there are some who are not virgins and still have it.
                              With knowledge we reached a point where we debunked a lot of facts and we know now that it doesn't pertains exclusively sex, nor it grants magical powers to rituals of dark magic or religious virtues.

                              We know that it's just something in the way of a nice experience which will make it worse.

                                I do not agree, reconstruction in case of accidental destruction of hymen, or by a rape...
                                I can fully understand that a girl wishes gift it to her man. An accident or a criminal can not spoil that wish, I believe.

                                            It does not have to be hidden for the man. In fact I do not believe that such thing should be hidden for our husband.
                                            Obviously I would say it to him, and I think I deserve feel me deflowered for my loved man, not for an accident or for a criminal. I want feel it while I gift it to the owner of my heart.

                                              that's why women should do it in such circumstances, but be honest with their partner about it. if a girl has been raped, it can cause even bigger problems in a relationship than a destroyed hymen.

                                                      I know that you are not so extreme and i appreciate how intimate for you are those beliefs, but still i cannot envision them.
                                                      Also, I totally respect purity and virginity but not at the cost of creating an artificial one (ecpecially since it won't change the fact that it will not be the first time anyway).

                                                          I think that there are many steps between my position and that situation.
                                                          As you can see, I believe my hymen has importance mainly for me, I did not care about the others.
                                                          I do not want be hypocrite, and frankly I would like my husband will appreciate the gift, but, it is secondary, my perception has more importance.
