Belt fitting
I need to be wearing my belt more - like every afternoon - well I can take a break but then no driving for 4 days. So yeah Susan said I can practice with mum n dad. And we talked about my chastity and yeah I've been a bit all over the place with it and we've agreed to make it more normal - like not an event. Mum said I've got to start thinking having it locked is normal - like yikes that's a struggle to think about. We've agreed I'm only allowed to drive if I've worn it locked the last 4 afternoons - so from straight after school till bedtime - and from 4 on weekends. So yeah the idea is every day - can't get more normal than that - and if I skip a day no driving chances for 4 days.
Agreed, you need to have a discussion about where this is supposed to be headed. Rewards getting less per time spemt belted as you gain more experience is one thing, but by the time you have your license you should still be getting some form of continuous reward from deciding to stay in, it should not just be expected of you without further compensation.
Joh Are you ok with the changing conditions for the same benefit?
Yes..I guess. It's a bit different - it's for practice with Mum or Dad. Lessons are still 2 nights they're good though they count for 3x hours on the logbook
I'm thinking more like I can do this like it's feeling better but I've had too long a break.
youdontknowme it should not just be expected of you without further compensation.
Not even no its not payment no they get what I said - rewards to encourage are ok. Yeah I'm doing this well yeah for now at least.
Jen lots of yesses and nos that make it hard to understand the message. But be careful that they do not use the promise of a reward as leverage to get you to agree to more than what would be fair.
OK, let me see if I can understand what you are saying. You should realize that the rules for driving lessons vary per country, like in the Netherlands you can only practice with an instructor, and not with any other adult until you passed your theory and practice test. There is no limit on how many hours you need to have practiced; if you decide to go up for the practice test with only 1 hour of lesson, and pass (VERY unlikely), that would still be allowed.
Based on your messages, I am assuming the following - please correct me if I'm wrong:
- Susan is your driving instructor
- now you have her permission, you are also allowed to practice driving in your parent's car while they teach you
- actual driving lessons with Susan count 3 times as much as lessons from your parents
- you currently have driving lessons with Susan twice a week
- you record all lessons in a logbook, and need to complete a certain number of hours before you can take the test
- you are not getting driving lessons with Susan unless you have worn your belt for 4 half-days in a row
- you don't currently wear the belt at nights at all
- wearing the belt every afternoon now feels to you like it is possible, and perhaps easier to get used to than occasionally.
- you have freely agreed to this new set of agreements, but are still unsure where it will lead to.
- I can find no information on how often your parents agree to practice with you, and if that is included in the 4 half-days continuous.
carg sorry guess I shouldn't post if not being clear.
- Yes Susan is my instructor, I've had 4 lessons, one a week
- need 100 hours (there's a logbook app)
- need 2 nights to get a lesson
- the 4 half days is to practise with parents, like drive to school and stuff. But it's supposed to be worn every afternoon so then driving practise whenever I can. If I skip a day then no driving for 4 days.
- I'm happy with it now but well yeah for now is all I can say.

Jen I shouldn't post if not being clear.
Well, it would help if you tried a bit harder to be clear, I guess especially for those who have a harder time with English anyway. Sometimes I write a text in a text editor like Notepad first, and read it over once or even twice before I post it, but for me that is mostly useful if I have something that is not easy to put into words, like when there are delicate feelings involved and I want to try to prevent stepping on toes. On the other hand, like I mentioned before, your way of writing seems to mirror your current emotional stability, which is also useful to know. In that aspect it is a bit surprising that you were harder to follow, while you seem content with your current situation.
Jen need 2 nights to get a lesson
Ah, yes. That is a more logical explanation of your text "Lessons are still 2 nights", than that you suddenly got 2 evening lessons per week
So the price of the lessons hasn't gone up; there were just added extra rewards you can earn.
So I assume you are for now trying to do the belt every afternoon, which would mean that to earn your driving lessons, you need to be in the belt continuously from straight after school (or 4PM) until you get up the next morning, twice a week. That must be pretty challenging.
somehow i am worried. i find it a bit scary that your mother is already talking about it being normal for you and that the rules have become stricter again. please make sure that you keep control.

it seems so, i'm really not sure if i understood everything, but the autralian driving school system alone is very complicated in my opinion. with me it was like with you in the netherlands, i could only drive with a driving instructor and i could take the test when my driving instructor said yes.
Angelina the autralian driving school system alone is very complicated in my opinion
As far as I know it is not complicated. You need to fulfil at test to show you know the street rules. Any adult which fulfil the requirement, I don't remember what exact it was, can be you instructor. In sum you need min. 100 driving hours in the city , during night on the free-way or highway, etc. It is better to have more than 100 hours because it can be they don't accept some of it. Than you make your driving test. Done

Angelina Maybe you can make her a counteroffer, something like a deal.
It could work,yes.
Good news for driving, but harder part with the belt.
However,if you still plan to wear it "semi-permanently" after a while,I think too it would be easier if you consider it more normal.
Jen Yes..I guess.
Good,so!
Jen rewards to encourage
Not exactly the case,as,if you don't wear it,you don't have driving lessons...
Joh In sum you need min. 100 driving hours in the city , during night on the free-way or highway, etc
yes i understood that. but i didn't understand how many of them have to be done with a driving instructor and how many can be done with the parents.
