I'd say that is best to take things very slowly, maybe increasing the time you wear the belt by an hour each day. I'd allow for a couple of months to get used to the belt at the very least. For cleanliness it's important to carry a (spray) water bottle and it's also very important to keep the body from getting sore - I use a talc substitute powder.

It's also very important to arrange fast access to the key should you need it in an emergency. (I think MySteel have an tamper-evident option where the key is actually kept with the belt).

Finally, I hope you understand that the belt prevents all sexual activity and you have discussed with your future spouse whether you will be expected to keep on wearing the belt after marriage.

        it's hard to say. i also wear a mysteel total with a full-length backside and anus hole. i would advise to start with a few hours and if there are no physical problems, increase it by a few hours at a time. i think it will certainly take a few weeks depending on how well you physically and mentally cope with it.

              that depends on the belt and on you body. Some people get used to in in a weak till a couple of weeks, for me, it tool a few month to get used to it (ok, mainly because it had pressure on a scarf from an operation i once had.) But generally it depends on how sensitive your skin is, how your body is shaped and of course also on how good the belt fits.

                                  The probably most challanging part is the front shield where you pee. You actually made a good choice with a cable style, many people say it's the most comfortable variation (and it also secures you from having ansl sex with a person) - just like double cable. I think second most comfortable is the straight band and last are the chains.
                                  Many people also prefer hip style.
