Can the cable on the neosteel be detached while wearing it?
BD1791 That's a great suggested. I've been emailing back and forth with neosteel. I'm going to wait and see what pictures are like when the store is back up but if I can't see well I'll make this request. Thank you for the suggestion!
maybe you can then generally conduct a real sales pitch online via zoom or something similar, then the retailer can show you the different models
BD1791 It gets confusing when people say the person wearing the belt can take off the bottom part and get access. I wanted to make sure, before I spend the money, that the kind of belt I'm planning to get is secure and that the wearer (or anyone else) can't gain access when it's locked on.
this only works if the wearer has the key, otherwise almost every branded belt is absolutely secure
BikelockFugitive There is even a CB I know about, but I won't mention it here, since there are too many people looking for ways to lock their children.
maybe interesting for children who want to lock up their parents
BD1791 We have very open communicate. We have talked in depth about time to get use to the belt and expectations for the belt. I don't think he'll get anything or implement any rules without talking to me unless I consent to that kind of thing which I haven't.
In my opinion, a very important point is to discuss all the rules beforehand so that nobody experiences a nasty surprise at the end. It's best to set the rules before you wear the belt and not while you're wearing the belt, because then you and he will be too emotionally tied
BD1791 That's a good suggestion. I haven't considered trying to take the belt off behind his back. Does everyone try that at she point?
As long as there are no daughters, it's simple because it's an agreement between two people, but nevertheless he has to tell you what awaits you.
My daughter and niece always say that it is much easier when we have been given clear rules, when I was in charge, my daughter says that I improvised and that it was even worse, even though in some things I was not as strict as my husband.
BD1791 What kind of consequences happen for that?
Consequences for certain behaviors, what is allowed and what is not, my husband accepts that we fight with the belt, but trying to reach us below the belt would already be considered bad behavior, and sliding elements under the shield would be cause for more serious punishment and many nights with the blocking piece, until trust was restore
BD1791 yes, security is very important to me
Have you ever considered a hips style belt? Or it's out of question for you due a security concern?

I think this is really good advice but I also think it's hard to anticipate everything. We'll set up our ground rules but I'm sure the rules will evolve as we figure this belt thing out.
Christine Have you ever considered a hips style belt? Or it's out of question for you due a security concern?
I always assumed I would get a waist style belt. While I've read the hip ones are secure it seems the waist ones are more secure. Is that your understanding too? Also, I'm worried having the belt locked on my hips would be uncomfortable, especially at night as I sleep on my side. That could be completely wrong though. I'm 100% guessing as I haven't tried it
