6373e6b2 Rafael The problem is not in QC, but in knowing what you manufacture and how well specified it is. Chinese are kind of experts in perfectly consistently manufacturing the wrong thing. In the west when something is not specified the manufacturer will either ask for clarification or use common sense, Chinese manufacturer will do whatever is cheapest and call it a day.
For some reason this effect is also visible in products that are designed in China. Apparently even in that case there is some kind of disconnect between product designers and production engineers. I don’t know, maybe the design is even done by people who have no idea what exactly the product is and how it is used.
That is the thing - there are some Chinese companies that make great products, but those also have development and marketing people that keep a close eye on the whole thing. You can manufacture to any price point or quality level in China, and the high end is as good as anywhere else in the world, it is just that the low end can get much wore.
