Sara2001 It is not that anyone necessarily wants to show their chastity equipment but here in the US it may be required. Due to the many problems with shootings many more places are using metal detectors to keep guns off their premises. It used to be airports, court houses, government offices, etc. But now even many nightclubs are "wanding" customers and if metal is tected they will want an explanation of some sort. Also because of a recent incident at the University, I expect metal detectors to get into building.

It just needs to be so the person can simply say "that is my steel chastity belt" and go on their way without snickers, laughs, etc.

bdsamm I am happy that I don't live in the US . Basically the only place with metal detectors here is the airport, at least from the places I would possibly go. I don't think courts have this here, not even thinking about clubs.

Luckily we have only such a small amount of weapons, that it's not necessary. We don't like to kill eachother.

Depends on the price. I accept the "panic" when it saves thousands and thousands of young girls from wearing a chastity belt against their will. Over the years I also lost this panic completely. I made the experience that people usually don't see anything or don't show any signs that they have seen anything. I think hiding the belt in public is not a big deal.

In this point I disagree a bit with you. I think that in the end, if the right social environment is created, the vast majority of girls would use the chastity belt, some because they believe that it is really the right thing to do, others because of fashion and some because the rest use it and do not want to be different.
I think that the forced use would be minimal, although I am sure that it would exist, in that you are right, and for this, as now, the authorities would be there, to deal with the abuses.

sorry, I understand your approach but disagree. I don't think it will save a girl from being involuntarily in a belt, those parents won't be put off by that, on the contrary it makes these girls live in constant fear of being caught too

Never say never, I'm making a comparison to the corona situation even if it's not appropriate. things happened that we never thought possible because a majority thought it was good for society. why shouldn't wearing a chastity belt be similar to wearing a mask. if the majority thinks a chastity belt makes sense for society, many will wear one, maybe it will even be prescribed by the state. Ines I get that you would never want unwilling wearers or minors in belts, but it feels like with a few people here, it is difficult to separate the physical item that is the belt from a keyholding arrangement that involves an authority figure of significant other taking charge of the wearer's sexuality whether they want it or not. But that is precisely the association we should avoid if we want to make lockable underpants more mainstream.

But even with grown-up daughters, I still believe an older gentleman, like most people with a media empire tend to be, taking a stand for the cause of locking up women young enough to be his daughters would provide ample ammunition to many feminist groups to rally against chastity. A viral trend that media companies pick up on (or pretend to pick up on) after it has already gained traction among youth would stand a much better chance.

that sounds like a good development, just to be able to talk about it openly, to be able to present it openly, that would help a lot of people who like to wear a belt. 🙂

well, you could say something similar about my father, but he is definitely not religious. i think jesus is being used as an excuse to defend one's own control and power, i can only advise such men to at least be open about it and not use god as an excuse.

It is interesting for me to observe a society in which they actually practice chastity, that is willingly abstain from sex. Unlike this forum where the large majority - but not everyone - do not practice it, they are forced into a belt and that's what keeps them "chaste".

I observed the girls we ran against with great interest. They may be chaste but are definitely NOT old maids. They keep their bodies in good condition, are well made up and, in hot weather, ran and allowed themselves to be photographed in short shorts and bare midriffs, running gear, that is, not some sort of sexualized outfits.

The reality of a chaste life is far dififferent from the kind of patriarchal/matriarchal crap you read here where people seek to deliver their daughters intact to their future husnands by any means necessary.
