youdontknowme Something like gastrointestinal issues might call for frequent or even continuous belt removal, if you constantly need to run to the toilet at moment's notice and the rear opening of the belt makes clean toilet use difficult.
I know these situations from my own experience. They are definitely not comfortable, but a shower/unbelted cleaning afterwards solves the problem from a health related point of view as well as not being belted. It's just more work for the keyholder.
Even a belted shower can solve the issue, but I think an unbelted shower is more appropriate.
youdontknowme And unlocking and cleaning up after the fact can be an unpleasant experience
Do we talk about what is NECESSARY or about what is pleasant? Of course it's unpleasant and an opening before toilet should be the norm. But it's not necessary to stay hygienic.
youdontknowme Comfort can be a valid factor in diseasr recovery
I agree, but if wearing a chastity belt is so uncomfortable for you that it impacts your recovery, you shouldn't wear this chastity belt at all not only when you are sick.
