To sum things up, there is fantasy and reality.

Reality:

  1. Things happen - I have had my belt suffer metal fatigue (break) and must be removed to avoid cuts (twice). Screws come loose (many times before I found a solution).
  2. Someone, who has another thermostat key, might see the extra key and remove it
  3. Illness/injury
3a) Large dog jumps in your lap and lands on something sensitive... (yup been there while locked in my belt - only provided partial protection)
3b) While I was in the basement typing on my computer (sitting in a nice chair) my back went out. I was locked in my belt with the only key I could get in my bedroom on the 2nd floor. I was alone. This was not pretty. As my lower back was swelling, my belt was very much in the way.
  4. Involving someone else in your fantasy - as stated by others above - consent is considered required. Although, there is no law requiring it.

Fantasy:

  1. You gave someone all your keys and you can't get them until ? Days. Might be ok, might see something listed (or unlisted) above...
  2. The person you have do this complies with out asking any questions. Life goes on...

@audioguy58 Sorry this is just a bad idea, but to each his own. I suggest you find someone you can talk to, open up about your desire for them to be a keyholder for you. Develop a plan (make sure you have an emergency plan) then live in reality.

    well said, thank you 🙂

Ines Sincerely. Thanks for being polite.

kat_anders Oh I see, anyone disagreeing or raising potential concerns that might interrut your sexual fantasies is a troll?
Are you perhaps in the wrong forum?

Angelina someone calls me a concerned troll,

cantsolvethecaptcha This is very immature of you.

We are definitely not trolls. You can get one of those online timers to hold your keys and you know this. You like your girl boss and want to involve her in a game without her knowledge and this is very wrong

    4 months later

I’m hoping at some point to go forward with my original plan, if for no other reason than to piss you people off.

audioguy58 Classy. I didn't think it was possible to make this plan any more disrespectful to the individual involved, but nope, this would do it.

In nearly every case, the naysayers and concern trolls are merely rehashing issues I’ve already debated with myself inside my own head, so why should I give them the time of day?

        audioguy58
        Again my question:
Why do you post your ideas in an internet forum designed for discussing ideas in the first place if you don't like discussions?

        • Sin likes this.

I mean, once again, at the core you’re trying to trick or coax your boss at work into becoming your potentially unknowing keyholder. There are zero versions of this scenario that end well.

It won’t piss me off if you do it. I’ll just be genuinely sad when you get fired, sued, or both over it.

Since this discussion has crossed into the fetish area, I will just say..

There is a generally accepted rule (that I have seen a definate pattern with audioguy58 claiming
to go 100% against) OR just saying he is... He might just be doing absolutely nothing except to stir a pot to boiling here.

That rule is - Do not involve others in your fetish activity without their knowledge and consent.

Since there is no fetish police force that will desend on you for breaking that rule... Play at your own risk. Unfortunately if there is an "incident"... You will just make things just a tiny bit more difficult for the others, and vanilla people will just dislike "whatever fetish activity" even more.

(I will now get off my soap box...)

Saintprudence I’ll just be genuinely sad when you get fired, sued, or both over it.

I would not, because that idea to use other people as unknowing tools to get whatever sexual kick out of it is - and that is my opinion - just sick and disgusting. So any adverse consequences (e. g. loss of job etc) are well deserved then.

              👍

I think that is the most important point and the whole problem of the idea.

(EDITED after Ines post below) You have received a lot of constuctive critism about your activities this locking thermostat cover and your swim (not accidentilly flashing your equipment).

You think we are piling on you and being negitive.

We are trying to provide guidence to you to avoid you making yourself (and others) look bad/get embarrassed.

                audioguy58 “ … a denial-of-service attack targeted at human beings.“

Audio, please, here anyone is harassing you, in fact you had compliments.

                JonesMacGyver

                Please, down the tone.
I will review accidentally flash thread.

right, no one wants to insult or criticise anyone too negatively, but this is still a forum where discussion should take place

Sounds like an impermissible deviation from Marxism-Leninism to me.

I’m glad you’re not my union rep.

                  audioguy58
If you demonstrate highly inappropriate behaviour by instrumentalising other people for your kink without their consent, any adverse consequences you get out of this are more than deserved from my perspective. So why should I feel sorry for someone who is abusing other people sexually (even if it is without their knowledge) for his sexual kinks and then has to hace the consequences?

                    curious

100% agree. i wouldn't want to work with someone who abuses me for his sexual pleasure. a termination of the employment relationship is actually the least and actually still the most harmless, i think of reporting to the police etc.
