Jen I'll be wearing it more I think

So all it took was some push to actually get you into the belt for a few days rather than only a few hours each day and you realised, it is not as bad as you thought and now you are happy to wear it more?

Hey it was like 14 or more hours most days. I still want breaks - like need them I think. But sometimes wearing through a while day - yeah I know it's ok now.

    Jen such a parent lol

Nah, I do not have children. I might be old enough to have them, but not old enough for them to be at an age where they could make use of a belt, unless I myself had needed a chastity device when I did not have one. No, that is from the perspective of someone who does not like the disinhibiting effect of alcohol to begin with and has been blessed with the sort of body parts on which it is much easier to conceal a chastity device.

nah they don't care - they're interest was totally about seeing me locked in without the key

Now you need a matching top for your belt so you can have the shiniest bikini of your entire friend circle at the next pool or beach party. I know you refuse to be locked into a steel bra, but no idea if you have one. If you do, making an exception for a party like that... Talk about an iron maiden.

    • Jen replied to this.

Jen But like realised I was just stressed about being checked.

yes, it causes stress, but a chastity belt was not a forbidden object there, so try to stay calm or they will think you have a knife in your belt or something. πŸ˜‚

Jen they're interest was totally about seeing me locked in without the key

so you told your friends you didn't have the keys on the trip? did i get that right?

      • Jen replied to this.

Jen they're interest was totally about seeing me locked in without the key

How did you explain this to them in the end?

Jen I'll be wearing it more I think

That's amazing. It is strange when the belt becomes a part of you. I genuinely miss mine when it's off, (eg: hospital or if I'm using my alternative CB sleeve thing).

Jen but I like my morning breaks not giving that up.

You can see where this is going though, no?

Jen She knew though - was asking if I was ok if anyone was causing problems for me.

It looks like it was not her first time she was confronted with a CB and knows that someone could have forced you to wear it. That is a good point.

          Jen Yeah alcohol

You mean you lost your reservation and talked about it.

          • Jen replied to this.

Jen they're interest was totally about seeing me locked in without the key

Do you parents use a different lock than the one you had the key from?

            • Jen replied to this.

Laura Do you parents use a different lock than the one you had the key from?

I've never had the key. I was going to get another lock but it's annoying - need to have the corner cut off.

Joh You mean you lost your reservation and talked about it.

Haha nah I lost my reservation about don't drink when belted.... Nah all changed Monday night but had a lot of fun Tuesday so worth it. Actually not to much talk - that would be worse! Made it a "I'm not loosing my V at schoolies thing"

Jonas How did you explain this to them in the end?

The ones that already knew - easy truth - I feel more free knowing unlock wasn't an option.

Jonas You can see where this is going though, no?

It ain't going anywhere. Like I know Megan has some amazing belt she can wear 24x7 but that ain't me.

Angelina so you told your friends you didn't have the keys on the trip? did i get that right?

Yes but only the girls in my room! Don't want everyone thinking I'm crazy.

youdontknowme No, that is from the perspective of someone who does not like the disinhibiting effect of alcohol to begin

That makes you like a parentπŸ˜‚ sorry hope I'm not offending. Lol just contrast to schoolies - only thing most of us cared about was don't vomit don't get too hungover.

youdontknowme Now you need a matching top for your belt so you can have the shiniest bikini of your entire friend circle at the next pool or beach party.

I'll settle for metal look thanks😁. But with colour - like a shiny metallic turquoise bikini top yeah

Jen It ain't going anywhere. Like I know Megan has some amazing belt she can wear 24x7 but that ain't me.

Maybe it is less about the belt itself being amazing but rather about gradually getting used to being in the belt for longer and longer until 24/7 is achieved?
As far as I understand you got a Mysteel?
Isn't that the same type some of the long time 24/7 wearers like Angelina have as well? So not having the right belt is just a poor argument. πŸ™‚

Jen Made it a "I'm not loosing my V at schoolies thing"

Nice. That's a great way of dealing with it, and may have given your friends pause too.

The ones that already knew - easy truth - I feel more free knowing unlock wasn't an option.

                  Truth right there.

Jonas You can see where this is going though, no?

It's less about the belt and more about your body adjusting to it I think. As long as you can see and you're in control of where it's all going, all is good.

Jen Yes but only the girls in my room!

                  And what do they say?

                  • Jen replied to this.

Laura they got no idea wearing a belt for more than a few hours is actually a big deal. They just like to tease me about it - about people finding out and no fun. They love that I have it - like me being locked in they think it's great - left the beach party with me first night to go get it on. I hid under a sheet to put it on but had them cheering me when it was time for the lock.

Jen That makes you like a parentπŸ˜‚ sorry hope I'm not offending. Lol just contrast to schoolies - only thing most of us cared about was don't vomit don't get too hungover.

I have always been boring like that, even when I was still in school. No dating, no smoking, hardly any alcohol, no illegal drugs, no coffee...

I was the sort of too-good teen whose parents were almost trying to get me to drink more, and who almost cheered on me when at a formal reception I would actually drink the customary glass of sparkling wine rather than opting for juice like the young kids.

youdontknowme I was the sort of too-good teen whose parents were almost trying to get me to drink more

Sounds like me except I dated, but my parents never tried to get me to drink alcohol.

Avery Sounds like me except I dated, but my parents never tried to get me to drink alcohol.

As I said, almost. Encouraging me to pick the "adult" drink at formal events was the worst they did in that regard.

As for dating, I guess that is just a me thing as well. I am pretty sure I fall somewhere on the asexual spectrum, because I have always struggled to relate to people to whom romance is a major factor in life. Like why do people in homophobic places have such difficulty hiding it. If you cannot date the people you are interested in, just do not date anyone at all. I mean, unless you are addicted to romance and sex, it is easy to be celibate, right? Right?

Took me ages to find out I am the weird one.

Jen It was fine female cop patted me down - didn't say anything

Maybe it's less unusual now than we thought.

Renita Maybe it's less unusual now than we thought.

I think that this is the case.
If you search for "chastity belt" on amazon.com, you get a whole bunch of results.
And while most of these are probably only good as toys for a few hours, police officers most likely have more than once encountered someone wearing a chastity belt or cage.
Of course they would usually not go into the details and differentiate between toys and serious made to measure chastity devices for 24/7 use.

youdontknowme Took me ages to find out I am the weird one.

I wouldn't be so quick to declare yourself weird. I haven't had a romantic date since I decided to try chastity 16 months ago. I don't think that makes me weird, it is just the way I'm wired. Which is an anagram for weird.

Avery Speak for yourself, I would rather be a weird person passing for normal than actually be normal. And I just cannot relate to something that most people would say is a fundamental part of who they are.

Nothing about me feels bad about being unusual in that way. But there is no denying that I do not experience some things the way most people do. Sure, many people experience it in even more non-standard ways than I do, but I have so far found the asexual community very inclusive and accommodating of people with different "wirings".
