Angelina the prospect of being in the belt for years is not worth a car

But if I read your profile correctly, you have been in a belt for many years and actually been one of those with the strictest rules and full set of equipment.
It occurs to me that you are actually pretty lucky with your father accepting your partner. More often than not, strictly conservative views also include a complete rejection of same sex relationships, and that would mean you still would be in full equipment without any end in sight.

Angelina (and then only with an escort)

Better say with supervision. "Escort" can have very different connotations and a 17-year-old should not be having one of those in their car.

What she said is perfectly fine where I'm from.

The chances of crashing would be much higher πŸ™‚

      curious

that's true, but luckily my father is quite open about it, he knew before that i am bisexual. i think he wouldn't risk losing me because he knows that i love my girlfriend extremely. in the meantime she is almost like a second daughter to him, so it's all good. πŸ™‚

yes, my choice of words was a little bad πŸ˜‚

If life permits I would encourage you to spend a few years living and working in an English speaking country.
Subtle meanings of a language are best learned that way. But that is no criticism, for having learned only in school you are doing really well.

          curious

my girlfriend was born in the USA and if i have problems she can always help me. my life plan doesn't allow me to go abroad and outside of holidays i don't want to leave germany either.

Cool. Mind saying what part of the country? I also heard your government is going to pay household's gas bills for December. That's cool too.

Avery But quite literally the bill. So the monthly rate, averaged over the whole year and based on last year's actual consumption and prices. Given that winter months typically require more heating and prices have recently increased, it sorta is less than it sounds like.

Sure, it is better than nothing, but in the end, we will still end up paying for it via taxes, and unlike social security or infrastructure projects, this is not something where pooling payments into a single entity who manages the money is useful or effective, and with how much of our country's tax income is from VAT, a flat, if not even regressive tax, it is not really great at moving wealth from people with money to spare to those barely scraping by, nor does it really stop the people who are profiteering from this crisis at the general public's expense.

Right. I listen to "Feli From Germany" on Youtube and she did explain about the average billing but I didn't really connect it with the December payment.

It is actually not all cool.
In Germany social security standards are pretty high, that's right. The downside is, that taxes and compulsory payments to social security are among the highest in the world. As a result, even if you have a decent gross income, after taxes and necessary payments for rent, food, etc there is for many families hardly anything left to save. So the German government was more or less forced to hand out that payment because many families could just not afford the increased costs.
in Switzerland by comparison, taxes are much lower and salaries higher. Here people frequently have the ability to save money and accordingly, Switzerland has not needed to hand out extra money for increased energy costs and most people still get along fine.

curious At least you hd help with the costs. In Britain wages are generally lower and prices are higher, and government help has been basically non existent.

                  correct, only belgium is higher

Hey @Jen I'm a bit late to the party and I know I've been supportive of you in the past, but I'm with your Mum on this one... you absolutely should stay locked for schoolies. I'm sorry!
Hope it goes well for you. If you were my daughter I'd be welding that thing on to you for the week. πŸ˜›

                    πŸ˜‚

Sin Give her some credit. So far, she has reliably shown her will to persevere. I think she will also be able to hold her own during the party.

Joh I guess we could consider the value of recommending chastity to everyone who goes there, but out of all the girls celebrating, Jen is probably among those who least need a belting.

Joh Well the parent in me would say something like "It's not that I don't trust Jen, it's everyone else I worry about."

But to be honest that's just a polite way of saying "There's no way in hell I would trust my kid at schoolies!"

It's like a Full Moon Party for 17yr olds. I'd lock her up and swallow all of the keys.
