I don't think most people would need to really believe anything more than "I don't like this any more and now I think it's stupid" in order to stop doing something as unusual and demanding as wearing a chastity belt. Obviously I'm assuming there's no mental illness involved. If there is then who knows. But assuming she's basically sane, I think it's unlikely that she's doing anything that she doesn't want to, at least at some level.
