I do no longer wish to participate in this Forum and sadly there is not button to press that allows myself to delete it.
Delete my account please.
BikelockFugitive What exactly do you want?

Left click on your username at the top right of the page. Got to settings on the drop down menu and x out all the notifications. Then left click on your username at the top right of the page again and logout. You should never see us again.
Laura Hello Laura, I simply do not want to have this account any further. That's why I am asking to have it deleted, completely wiped out of the database, if possible.
It was nice being your "martian troll" but I kinda want to leave this forum for good.
@Avery Not what I want - there is a difference between deletion and just turning off notifications.
that is a pity, we will miss you

Do you want me to delete all your posts?

As far as I can tell from a tracerout, the server for this forum is located in the US.
Under US privacy laws, a user has the right to have his / her account and all private information deleted if he / she requests that - no questions asked.
Posts in internet forums are not covered by this, but the user has the right to get his/her posts disassociated from his/her account.
Laura could therefore simply rename the user account to "deleted user", delete all other information from the account (e. g. age, location, whatever was asked at the time of registering the account - and that should suffice.

This has got to be BS. You're telling us criminals could demand to have the audit trail of their activities deleted and the holders of the info must comply?
BikelockFugitive I kinda want to leave this forum for good.
And you want everyone to know. Which is why you don't do what I suggested.

Laura Technically removing identifying information is enough. I am simply not using this forum a lot anymore lately as I am rather busy with other projects (And cause @Ines dose a good job with shutting down abusive parents, thanks!) . I am simply worried that, due to the nature of this forum, there might be eventual data breaches. And I wouldn't want to appear on any list.
Also while I am very happy about how you handle chastity with minors I kinda feel uncomfortable that there are still discussions detailing the use of CBs on minors and I am worried that they still violate local laws on child pornography, as even written content is included in it.
Its mostly the latter which kinda worries me, I would feel safer if such discussions would uh be archived for good.
Avery
As long as there is no order issued to keep these data by law enforcement / judge, you have a right to get your data deleted from a computer system (unless there are laws that require the archiving if certain Information, e.g. bank transactions, medical records, etc). To my knowledge no such laws exist about user accounts in internet forums, so the right to have your account deleted prevails.
BikelockFugitive Still don't understand what you want me to do? Go through your posts and "remove identifying information"? Please do it yourself. Change your username? Tell me right one
Laura Tell me are you logging the IP addresses of the users?

curious you have a right to get your data deleted
And where is this right codified, articulated, etc.? Currently only seven states have related laws and even California's (California Consumer Privacy Act) doesn't require data be deleted from backup copies).
curious so the right to have your account deleted prevails.
"The right"?? According to what authority?
BikelockFugitive For every single post. I you wish I can change all your posts to 127.0.0.1
Laura That would be optimal, that also would not require for the account to be deleted. I can come back in the future when I have more time then!

Which you could have done 9 hours ago when I suggested it. But this way you got a chance to make a fuss.
Avery
You clearly lack any technical or legal understanding, your entire existence right now is limited to bitching around.
Every suggestion or comment you made missed the point by about a mile, so do me the favor and kindly fuck off.
I wish to have the IP changed in the logs to prevent, in case of a databreach, to get a knock on my door. From now on I could just use a proxy chain, problem solved. Couldn't do that before since I obviously don't have access to the logs or DB.
