Milord Thank you for the opinion. I have not felt wearing a belt to be emasculating as that was not the intention. I suppose for some it is. I think I am strong and confident. People don't seem to be able to tell that I am a wearer unless they ask or I volunteer the information.

I am afraid from the point of logic that makes no sense.
If you can revoke your consent at any time - why bother asking your mother, because if she would hand over the key to the man, you could revoke consent and get out of the belt. So the key would be worthless. Why then ask your mother in the first place?
The only scenario where it makes sense to ask your mother for the key would be, if you had no say in your belt wearing and the current keyholder could simply decide to pass control to someone else - even if you do not consent.
i actually have to agree with you in a way. it may all be based on prejudice, but i would find dating a man in a belt much stranger than dating a woman in a belt. Probably because, as you said, many things are simply expected of a man and other things are expected of women

Still many people, not only here, believe only men need to do so, and women should better take the easy way out and just do some home decoration and have their husbands spoil and feed them through life - till he eventually looses his job and you just take the next one to exploid.

what does one have to do with the other? there are enough women here (even in the belt) who nevertheless have a professional career. one does not prevent the other.
One of my father's arguments was even that the belt would allow me to concentrate more on school/study/work and not be distracted by sex and masturbation, so according to his logic, the belt should actually help my career
