      Being virgin or even pure before marriage has nothing to do with not wanting to get your own life together.
      Still many people, not only here, believe only men need to do so, and women should better take the easy way out and just do some home decoration and have their husbands spoil and feed them through life - till he eventually looses his job and you just take the next one to exploid.

      I want a woman who loves me for myself, not for the sex or standard of life I can give her.

Most girls here think that it will be her future husband that will decide if they will be still belted or not, so it goes on the direction of obedient housewives (or at least obedient wives).

                                                        You got the wrong impression. @Susan clearly stated with her marriage the belt get off. Other are out of the belt and not any more at the forum. One got out of her belt with a hacksaw. Other decided for them self if she could continue it after marriage would be nice.

But since then I’ve become very successful professionally, working my way up into a very well paid assistants position in a law firm.

                                                                    I have found that this is the case for me. I am a voluntary, but enforced wearer for whatever grade of consent that is. I wish I had found this situation long ago. Knowing what I know now, if my parents had suggested it (I am sure they had no idea of chastity belts) I would have started much earlier.
