            I have explained it to be sure. Octavia came with a nice suggestion for a safeword. They know when they need out immediately and use that word unlock will happen without delay. I told them it is only for emergencies and they will decide if it is really needed. Octavia makes sure all her headmates know this, she writes a journal for that purpose.

            So far they are not in a hurry when the lock opens automatically for hygiene break. Looks like there are no major issues anymore and are okay with the belt more or less. The belt was in use for two years already so it was not something that suddenly came into their lives. I think that having a reliable kh is always better than using a time lock for example that doesn't open before the time set. Emergency release will be very difficult then.

                  yes i think so too, i think the personal connection to a key holder makes the whole thing much more personal than pure mechanics

                    Something unexpected happened. Octavia messaged requesting her key because she now had a real life kh. She wanted to do some experiments. Of course such request can't be denied so within a minute she had her key back. Now he, the new real life kh has the real keys to her belt. Hope she thought this over well. Without the keys she really cannot open the belt. It's her decision.

                    The last two weeks a lot has happened and a lot of discussions have taken place. Also spend hours reading to try to understand what DID is and how to deal with that the best possible way. Also started to know all personalities involved and met two of them. I was prepared and ready for a long period at least lasting til may 7th, her birthday. But it has ended now. I must admit after so many discussions, emotions, and many hours reading I feel a little bit sad. Asking for feedback for me as kh, she said it was all right! I wish her the best and hopefully she found her happiness.

                                    Giving access to is something else then safekeeping. Giving your keys to someone else may have certain advantages too. It may result in more strict safekeeping of the key and more belt time for the wearer. That may increase safety. For example refusing the keys when horny or when there's a risk of interaction with others.

                                    For @OctaviaSunwilds I think she likes it not having the keys and even the risk loosing them and being locked for good. That is hot she says. There is no backup as far as I know. The keys were stolen a while ago. She managed to pick the lock and has replaced it with one she can't pick. So now [keys lost] + [want out] = [problem] (but it feels HOT)

                                            Since this remark Octavia did not write anything anymore. Maybe she doesn't feel safe anymore, maybe something else. She is still visiting the forum now and then but does no longer respond to anyone. Private communication has stopped as well. No clue if she is doing well.
