I think a good solution is to have a spare key in a closed envelope that can't be opened without noticing in a box that is locked with a kind of seal that can be destroyed easily but not on accident.
I have talked with Daniel how we want to handle it after wedding and our plan is to do it like this and if I open the box in any other situation then a severe emergency, he will decline to be my keyholder for at least a year. So it's a double proof that everything is like it should be.

It would mean that we have to deeply think about our lifestyle and if it is still the right thing to do for us. I think depending on how it happens, he may want to pause our lifestyle, too.
