I agree.

that's right, in some cases we manage to break the power imbalance at least between mothers and daughters a little bit. 😃

thanks, also to @Laura for the link. may i ask how you found out?

It's weirdly cold tonight and I wanna just snuggle into bed without my belt just snuggle in comfy and warm. I can't - it's already locked on - but it just like feels extra heavy today. 😌

          Jen

in case of emergency you have to be unlocked, but honestly: feel hugged and sleep well, I hope. 🙂

            Angelina slept ok thanks 😊

I just feel very small I think - not sure that's the word - but just having to snuggle into bed with the metal locked around me - and like again tonight and tomorrow and yeah....
And I feel I've got no control - it's weird I'm literally in control but then sometimes it's like I'm trapped in this decision I've made and trapped in metal. It's not even the chastity I think - just having the metal locked on me - just feeling weird about it now

Jen I don't mind it in bed at night. It bugs me most when I'm trying to exercise. At that point, yeah, but for the lock, I'd take it off. But the lock on my belt is there to prevent exactly this. A momentary feeling should not be able to overrule my considered (and excellent) choice of chastity.

              Jen
Maybe I is less about the metal itself but about your attitude?
If you are certain that is what you want, then embrace it mentally. Stop thinking of the metal as limiting you or you being locked in.
Rather think of it as being a part of what you are now, much like glasses.
In that regard, 24/7 wearers are probably in advantage, because they just get used to it. When you do have the comparison between belted and free all the time it becomes much harder to accept the belted state as 'normal' for yourself.

              Jen

try to stay calm and make the best of it. you know why you wear the belt and that's the most important thing. there are always good and bad situations, the momentum can tip one way or the other, but it's ultimately a head thing. it's just like running (@Avery will confirm this), even if you're physically fit the head has to play along, but if you tell yourself "i can do this, i can get through this" then you're the winner. 🙂

One thing I've learned is that you have to take care of yourself. If you do, the whole world looks better. Eat right, get proper rest, get some exercise, buy yourself something to wear, read a good book, meditate.

I don't think we've ever talked about proper rest. The American football coach Vince Lombardi used to say "fatigue makes cowards of us all". He was talking about contact sports, but I've found rest helps me stay on the chastity path. If you're over tired things are just harder, darker, you're more likely to get discouraged.

                So keep practicing self care.

Yeah lol my sleep is so over the place. Good insight Avery. 😴

this reads very well, i especially like the last sentence, we should always take care to do something good for ourselves. 🙂

Angelina may i ask how you found out?

At the site you get redirected to, pollsters.com, they say that if you become a member you can find out how to still access the old forum. Since I am still checking new results from my polls there, I did that, but didn't get a clear answer. The internet search I did next helped me better.

but you can only read the old threads there if you have an account right?

No, everybody can read. Only for posting you need an account. (Also for creating polls, but that hasn't worked for a long time now.)
