Ideal age for marriage
ok, as the posts have been separated into a new topic i would like to add something
i think the ideal age for a wedding is 25 to 30 years, which is much later than i will get married and you should also be financially independent ( unlike me )
Angelina Is there an ideal age? My dad became father when he was 50. Now I'll be 20 soon and he'll be 70 soon. Others who are only a few yeaes older then me also already get married and have children. I mean - there is no perfect time. After all the perfect time is when you truely believe to have found the one partner you want to share your entire life with, regardless of what's coming in the future.

Talking about it is old-fashioned, because you are supposed to strive for a career. But the reality is different if you look deeper.
it's not about what's possible. my father get me when he was 35 years old, he was only married for a short time and has been divorced shortly after my birth.
of course there are other solutions, i will probably marry at 20 and my girlfriend will be 18, but i am talking about what i think is ideal, that is just my opinion

I agree,25 to 30 can be good,generally you've finished your studies and maybe have a job.Being financially independent is important too,yes.
I would add that the two partners should be in love(of course),and the relationship should have lasted long enough(at least 2 to 3 years without breaking up during it,even temporarily).Better if living together too,it is a very important step for a couple.

i agree these points are also very important, that's why i don't believe in marriages that are concluded after less than a year

Laura There's apoint in it, sone do. Just like some women. There are unloyal people in each gender - just that I feel women care generally more about what job you have whereas men also marry women who are poor / have a lower social status... like for example a ceo who is married with a nurse or something like that. That's pretty common. But you barely hear from female ceos who marry an unemployed man for example. Exept for some rich grannies who are with their toyboy
