Yes,it's what I meant.But I suggested trying once only,as if you try twice and your father make a mistake before opening it the next time,it would be locked,and he would know you have tried to enter the code two times.

i could, but the whole thing has another problem which i haven't written here yet. when the safe is opened, this opening is stored internally on a memory, which my father could theoretically have read out and thus see when i open it.
