Okay, I will start a new thread on the weird and wonderful things I have built or been asked to build.

The non-consentual wearing of belts is a minefield. In most cases, I don't and never can know enough of the family dynamics to know if belts are being used non-consensually and if they are why. I generally work on the theory that the customer is sane and will use the belt in accordance with the laws of their country.

I knew of two cases of definitely non-consensual wearing of Tollyboy belts and I had no trouble with either case.

1). A young woman with mental health issues who was frequently hospitalised after forcing broken beer bottles into her vagina. She needed psychiatric care but didn't get it, her parents couldn't watch her 24/7 so, in the end, had her fitted with a belt. Not an ideal solution but it did prevent her from inflicting more horrific injuries on herself.
2). A father of Middle Eastern origin who decided to have his daughter belted instead of infibulated.. I'm sure she wasn't happy about the belt but considering the alternative, I thought it was the best outcome she was going to get.

Taz I would like to now it as well because to find out what would be possible and what is only fantasy. The technology has moved on and what was not possible in the past may be possible today. I like to think about of some solution.

Obviously there is only so much a manufacturer can know, especially in the sex equipment field where customer privacy is taken rather seriously, but I am sure some buyers volunteer way more information than you asked for. I know that My-Steel's old page had warnings on there telling people not to expose the belt to minors or use them on non-consenting wearers - something some buyers do seem to be ignoring, if the stories here are to be believed (and since they are familiar with the trials and tribulations of wearing chastity devices and the people with lock-it-up-and-throw-away-the-key fantasies tend to not last very long, some of those experiences are rather believable).

For me, the motivation is mainly that with an engineering background, one tends to be pretty familiar with the people who think that coming up with an idea is the hard part and realizing it is just applying steps that you learned somewhere. My own field is electronics, so hearing what a metalworker has to deal with would be an interesting change.

Talk about a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, it is not nice to be complicit in the subjugation of girls and young women, on the other hand, middle eastern infibulation typically involves some form of FGM and you would obviously want to do what is in your power to save at least that one victim from that.

i worry about that too, when we write about it we have to mark it clearly with the fantasy tag so that no one (especially parents) gets the wrong idea.

Different people take different amounts of effort to reach orgasm. If you are the sort of person who does not orgasm from mental stimuli alone or melt to gentle touches quickly, chances are you will be a lot luckier (depending on your definition of luck of course) with the effectiveness of your belt than someone who does, even if they wear a belt of the same design, with the same amount of effort spent on getting it fitted to their body. Heck, there are even women who struggle to orgasm despite never even having seen a chastity belt, much less worn one.

Other factors to chastity belt effectiveness include things like how much mobility restriction you are willing/able to endure (e.g. thigh bands), and your access/willingness to use technical help like high-power massagers.

No. If she finds a way to bypass the belt, there isn't much I can do. Thigh bands are absolutely out of question, just no.

It's very unlikely she can bypass it though. I don't think it's physically possible.

The shield on my daughter's belt is firmly pressed against the body, it's impossible to move aside or pull away at all. There is no way to make a gap between the skin and the shield anywhere.

it's good that you don't think about it, but to simply say it's unacceptable that would shorten the debate, there are reasons for these devices, they should just be worn voluntarily in my opinion.
