One at home is probably set up at the beginning, I guess highschool wifi hotspot isn't secure one (Like one you don't need a password) so it might automatically connect to it.

College hotspots, at least ones in my country needs to have PEAP credentials which is complicated to set up. Which means it won't be able to even automatically connect to it.

            i agree with you, even my father wouldn't do that because he would never want to cause me physical pain. i also find the idea kind of scary, as i have read the electric shocks can be given without any warning. the idea of being locked up in something that can give me electric shocks at any moment would drive me crazy
