Well self confidence cannot gain economic advantages from a statal sanctioned union.
Succession, taxes, house property and all kinda stuff which are granted to a male husband and a female wife were a great conquer for those who lived homosexual relationship where the nation did not accepted them.

It s not a matter of "great, we feel represented by you" but a matter of needing or not that political fight.

Think back to when someone fought to get vote rights for women or to get a human work day of less than 14 hours.

For what concerns Fiume and D'Annunzio, I gladly suggest to check it out. The human embodiment of "right" managed to get all that we are struggling today to get with modern left on his constitution.
Drugs, homosexual marriages, free love, freedom of speech and cult, all women could vote, work and public healthcare, even compensations for judiciary mistakes.

... Well then came Mussolini who kept all the right part of that constitution as a guideline, leaving behind all the libertarian part and the classical right changed.

No. I'm not THAT much of an over-sensitive libtard snowflake. πŸ™ƒ I just haven't had anything to contribute to the other threads recently.

LoonyMel Well self confidence cannot gain economic advantages from a statal sanctioned union.

But the conclusion is that self-confidence has made it possible for people to dare to go out on the streets and fight for their rights.

however, i notice again and again that it is also abused politically. when i talk to young women about my political role models, i am often looked at askance. the reason: almost all of them are old white men.

Please do not make a post like that again.
It is already how polarized society is for you to put that poison in the forum.
Here you can discuss almost anything, as seen in the thread about the verdict of the US Supreme Court, but you can not come up with "the left does" or "the right does".
It is a highway to blow up the atmosphere of the forum.

gwen That's a pretty rude thing to say. Even if you can't understand it, people really do struggle with gender and sexual identity. Pulling up this tired meme is so dismissive to their struggles -- struggles you probably don't have to deal with.

            Thisssss so much!!!!!!

BikelockFugitive this comment is very rude and disrespectful, and I am frankly disgusted by anyone liking it

EDIT: oh over a year old thread lol. Still i hold my point

That is very offensive for trans people. Like what @Maija said I feel disgusted every time I see someone enjoy making these kind of unfunny, offensive "jokes". It's kind of "jokes" that TERFs also make, and it is the most disrespectful thing a person can do to trans people.

Ines poison? excuse me? you have allowed some very vile accusations from others blaming immigrant for all inds of problems, accusing "the left" of doing this and that, without any comment. I was just replying to earlier posts that nobody had made the slightest criticism of.

                  kat_anders
                  Hello,
you can complain that something or other is done, but it will not allow itself to say that the left is bad or the right does such a thing.
We are not interested in generalist political debates that only irritate and do not contribute anything. Both people on the right and on the left are usually good and seek the best for their countries.
As you can see there are threads that deal with specific things and there you can defend the position you want, and it will not be censored as long as it is done with educational standards.
But "general causes" right vs left, no.
If you want you can open new threads and discuss other topics.

                    Rina

but the problem is still there. even if one recognises and accepts different sexual identities, as i do, the practical implementation of gender policy makes a shambles of it.

Ines Both people on the right and on the left are usually good and seek the best for their countries.

i think so too, it's about the ways you can discuss, but yes the goals are good in both streams

All people no matter who they are attracted to should be respected.
The way that guy was a attack helicopter was sort of rude but it's an old joke. I think I said my next belt was going to have a jet pack like Iron Man, but that wasn't to say other peoples issues are not important.

                    Ines Hello,

There are many homosexuals now. A lot of the girls in my store have dated other woman or something and they don't look any sort of odd way they are pretty. It could be a bit odd but they really aren't going to do anything to us.
I am kind of surprised all the gay people wind up on the left and the right doesn't have any open pro gay anything.

                      Megan
Maybe in USA is a bit different, but here there are plenty of gays in right wing parties.
Obviously most disruptive people are on left wing but a lot of normal-people-gays (half nude people parade in the middle of our capital is not normal people) are in left and right parties.

Ines half nude people parade in the middle of our capital is not normal people

Haha awww I like half naked people. They're my second favourite kind of person.

Ines Maybe in USA is a bit different

That's my perception too. In Aus there are plenty of inner city gay professionals, yuppies etc who are economically conservative small business operators... The US is stuck in a cultural war where everything is framed as left vs right, us vs them, you vs me, God vs Satan, "with us or against us". It's not healthy. There's no reasoning or tolerance.

Our previous government spent 20 years trying to ignite the same thing here, but luckily they were deposed recently.

Megan I am kind of surprised all the gay people wind up on the left

hmm... I don't know, I'm not straight either, but I'm not going to become left any more in my life.

furthermore, in germany the leader of a radical right-wing party is a lesbian, so theoretically anything is possible. πŸ˜‚

Sin The US is stuck in a cultural war where everything is framed as left vs right, us vs them, you vs me, God vs Satan, "with us or against us". It's not healthy. There's no reasoning or tolerance.

Honestly USA now is so much uncoordinated. The country right in north of USA is better in this aspect, though.

Ines Obviously most disruptive people are on left wing but a lot of normal-people-gays (half nude people parade in the middle of our capital is not normal people) are in left and right parties.

Honestly it's a huge stereotype many homophobic people use as a way to justify their hate.

Pride Parade is more about visibility, and in many Pride Parades around the world it is happening.

My pov? I just view it as some part of their expression for special occasion. It's nothing different with some festivals that participants get half naked there. I myself don't generally like too much exposure, but do they really cause direct harm to me? No. So I'm okay with such occasion.

No, @Rina, no, not everything that is done by gays is OK.
Nude people at 16.00 PM in metro next to families with children is not logic. It is not about visibility but about respect.
