I think that situations might occur where self control is not strong enough to actively make a decision pro chastity in that situation. For that reason I would indeed advocate for using the belt on a 24/7 basis with periods of unlocking limited to times when it is almost certain nothing will happen that might be regretted later. That way finding oneself in a situation overwhelming the baseline decision for chastity, the belt will stop any such attempts and overturning the decision pro chastity cannot occur on impulse but only with pre planning as a well considered decision.

      As I have said, and you have denied as recently as a day ago, you want everybody in belts. It's a difficult task. One dusts oneself off and keeps trying.

                    You are mixing up two very different things.
                    1) Belt as protection against sexual assault
                    2) Belt to protect you from giving in to sexual urges that would cause you to violate your goal of chastity.

                    Personally I don't consider number 1 a good use, because it is potentially getting the attacker more angry and violent. But if you are a victim, I can see how at least you would feel protected.

                    For number 2 is is of course all about how acceptable fails are to you. If I was making the decision to actually go for a no orgasm lifestyle, I would not want any fails. Or in other words, fails would be worse than the disadvantages of being in the belt 24/7. In your case obviously you consider fails as no big deal, so your priorities are reversed. Your approach is 'belt as little as possible and just as much as needed', while based on the different priorities, my approach would be 'belt as much as possible with breaks as little as is necessary.
                    Nothing from with either approach, I just think everyone needs to find the right approach for his/her goals.

                      Usually your talking about things you know nothing about is amusing, but here it's potentially dangerous. The police advised me that the best defense is to make things difficult for the attacker. They want a quick hit with a victim who offers no resistance. So you yell, kick them, hit them, try to run, make noise, so they will leave. A b elt will put them off. They want to deal with cotton panties, not steel belts. We've talked about this before here. That's what they teach you in the many classes there are for women who live in urban areas.

                            I hate feminist stuff, but in this case you will not say this to a boy involved in a street fight.

                                              of course the belt as such is not a real solution, but i think there is an advantage. no attacker expects a chastity belt, this 2 to 3 seconds of confusion can be enough to use further measures like running away, screaming or pepper spray.
