Foxies the whole concept of rules, as agreed to by a community of people, does seem a little silly.

I agree, with you.... Mainly. But it is true that some elements are pretty universal in a "healthy" relationship. I think that here nobody intends in write "laws in stone".

Yes, she can be a girl with a chastity belt, but, of course is not a user in essence. I think that there are necessary 3 elements: belt, girl and key holder.

But, this is my opinion, no more.

I proposed to be belted, she accepted and now she makes the rules, including rules against my will (I dream about masturbating for example but it is out of question for her!), so I'm a little bit an unwillingly wearer I guess, no? So I think we can discuss about "ideal rules" but the reality is that the rules are those edicted by the keyholder.

that is why i always recommend that the rules should be clear beforehand and limited in time. then there is no reason to discuss changes within the time frame (except in an emergency).

I understand what you are saying, and I suppose there are as many views as there are people expressing them in this thread. For me, the entire raison d'etre is the dynamic that exists between me and my keyholder. I admit the only reason I am interested in the belt is my partner and the keys that she holds. If she refused to hold the keys or lost interest in why she holds them, I would ditch the belt in a heartbeat even if I had to cut my way out of it.

Yes. For me is identical. The axis is not the belt but the relationship and the feelings that my dependence arise on me.
If behind the belt there was not a keyholder that make us feel protected and safe, the belt would be only a piece of metal.
