If only 5% would be open about it, I can imagine, that it would mean that this topic would be relatively well known. Every village would have a wearer who is more or less open about it. Like he would make jokes on the yearly village festival after a few beers, that he can't use the pissoir and one day later half of the village would know it. These kinds of events.

But there are only a hand full of serious companies in the world and they don't have thousands of employees. I don't know how long it takes to produce a chastity belt. But I'd only Germany needs 100.000 male belts a year, it should be millons for the whole world. Let's say any company has to produce only half a million a year, that would be 2000 a day.

With laser cutting and specialization, I would imagine that the number could be 4 to 10 a good day, from the manufactures in Germany. We should not just focus on higher class belts. You have a BIG Chinese market with 1000 of manufactures, who make adjustable belts and cages.

Do you know any manufactur in China who produce really good quality for long term use? How many percent do you think only use it for playing and fetishism, but not 24/7.

If you include only serious user i would start with an estimation on the member at the forum. Let say 1% of the serious user are at the forum I get 700 to 1000 for Germany. From this number you can't estimate how many will start every year.
Not many manufacturer exist but they deliver around the world. If MySteel makes 2 belt per day it will be around 460 to 500 per year. With 230 working days per year. I don't see why it should be more if you consider the delivery time after order. And the 500 are world wide delivery.
