  • Reasons a chastity belt sucks?

Angelina that would be a solution, but only in a perfect family and @Jen's mother has not proven to be very trustworthy.

I've been thinking again about this, and looking again at what Laura said:

Though the belt was presented in a very negative and stressful way, I don't think these parents would go against their previous agreement to remove the belt whenever asked (during a trial period), and anyway, Jen has already won the battle to make her own choice as to whether to wear the belt in the long term. So the initial submission here isn't a huge one.

I still think the 3 day trial isn't sensible - better to take things much more slowly, a couple of hours a day with regular unlockings, to check fit and soreness, but also build trust and confidence. I think her parents would be happy for her to try it at this point and would work to ensure that things went smoothly. But who knows eh? We have too little information to do anything more than speculate. I just hope it all works out well for all concerned.

        First, she wants to find out what it is like to wear it for longer. It may well be that she has had enough after the first time and wants to leave it at that.
        If she wants to go further, she can always think about how it can be safest for her. Several options have been listed so that "all or nothing" is not necessary

            I definitely still think she could ask for the key and do the trials for herself as I suggested above. However, looking back, I think that with the help of good advice on here, she's already established that they cannot force her to wear it, (what would friends/family say? etc), so the risk is negligible, the only concern here is avoiding further bad feeling. Ironically, going through with the original agreement might help to address just that.

            First, she wants to find out what it is like to wear it for longer. It may well be that she has had enough after the first time and wants to leave it at that.

            As I understand it, the deal was that belt could be removed for any reason during the trial period.

            Overall, it kinda depends on her motivation. If she's seriously considering chastity then Ines is right, it's not a fair test of if you have the key in your possession. Further, if the belt is just being considered for use as a toy then it might be kinda unfair on the parents to demand the key.
            If however, she is simply attempting to keep to the previous agreement, or remains generally unsure about the whole idea, then the parents could help this by supplying the key for the trial period.

                  As far as I understood @Jen is curious about the belt. Nothing special is necessary to test it out how it is to wear it. After that she can go further or leave it.

                    You can try it to convince them,if you want to try it.Trust you by giving you the keys during your trying,if they want you to trust them if you decide to continue wearing after(without having the keys,so).But remember the feelings would be very different.

                    Jonas And it is far better to test the belt a little each day over, say, a month than it would be to suddenly to try it for three days straight and end up sore and stressed out.

                                                          When I'm being chased by the Masturbation Monster my aim is to chuck everything I can into it's path as I beat a hasty exit out the door! 🤣 Anything that makes it more difficult to act out helps. Hence porn filter, distractions and the belt itself. I mean nothing is totally secure, but it all helps. It's often more of a question of making "escape" just a little too much effort for you to bother. 😀

                                                          I used a combination key safe a whole lot, using an app to do time-locking. After this I used to wait for my partner to open when home from work. That led on to occasional lock ups that were longer than I intended and an increasing degree of making me wait. 😅 Of course when I got to the full 24 hours, the key is just for emergencies really.

                                                              If/when you want to try it, you could pick a quiet moment and say what you wrote above to your father:

                                                              "I want to try [the belt] in my own time - not have any promises or pressure or anything."

                                                              If the belt and key magically appear then great, if the awkwardness starts up again maybe this was the wrong time/place to try chastity.

                                                                                As things stand; the belt is in a suitcase, parents disappointed, Jen stressed. Trying the belt would address all of these and maybe solve them.

                                                                                        Hard surfaces are not advisable, however hands behind "sit spots" help to manage it.

                                                                                            You should remember that,now they've accepted you would not wear it,you can decide what would be the conditions for trying.They don't accept these?Ok,so you wouldn't try it.I guess they would prefer to let you try it under your conditions,hoping you accept to wear it after it,than making you not even trying.

                                                                                            Not a good idea.It would be less comfortable than her own belt,and could disgust her even more of chastity,for the wrong reasons(cheap belts and major brand's ones are very different).

                                                                                                              i don't know if i agree with this statement. of course the parents would prefer @Jen to try, but i doubt if they will accept it on @Jen's terms. parents prefer to keep control and i don't know how this will develop in the long run.

                                                                                                                  What kind of lock does your belt have? Is it a normal padlock, small padlock, or the box with the internal locking mechanism that only the key can extract? If your parents are not giving you the key, you might as well file it and try to destroy the padlock yourself. It'll take about 4 hours, but it'll be worth it!
