Pro's scare me a bit like some ideas are daft. And negatives are real things so don't want to say anything stupid and make things awkward at home again. ......................... Negatives are so much easier and also really interesting to see the other side like @Sin wrote some are not negative at all.

          I agree with your proposal. I think comfort and period are the things that sucks most...

          Jen You have a top of the range CB, a forum full of support and you have possible keyholders who are loving, but firm.
          Chastity is there if you want it.

          If your parents' feelings resonate within you, or if you want to commit to your future life-partner, or you think you'll "feel sexy AF" in your belt then great.

          On the other hand, if chastity makes you feel fearful, awkward, or negative then drop the idea and think no more about it. No worries,

              Jen Don't do it with your parents. I'm sorry but that's just unbelievably weird. Buy a cheap belt from eBay for like $50, play around for a little while and make your decision when you feel comfortable and you've had some experience. Do some sessions by yourself on a keyholding site if you want to know what it's like to lose control for a little while (albeit with a maximum duration of your choice).

              Maybe if you express an interest in it your parents will give you your good belt to wear when you go out or something. But never, ever, EVER let them hold the keys, because that's some next-level creepy incest shit.

                  Sin There's only one thing I would change - I wouldn't buy a belt but a cage for $50, because for that price you can get a great cage but only a very cheap belt.

                        i try to interpret what you write all the time, but i don't really succeed. you seem very insecure and i'm not quite sure why, because no one is pushing you at the moment. your parents currently think that you have refused and they have no chance to get you in the belt and i would advise you to take your time.

                        you also don't seem to have 100% trust in your parents about the whole thing. i can understand that, but if that's not the case, there's no point in trying, because the relationship between the wearer and the keyholder is very important.

                                                Jen Good idea! If you get your hands on it, tell them you want to try wearing it out. Then go straight to the hardware store and get a bunch of keys cut. Stash one in your purse, one in your bag, one in your glovebox, one at friend's house, one under a rock in the garden... you get the idea.

                                                            Laura Could they not give up the key to enable the belt to be trialled? In the future if they all decide to go ahead with the idea, the parents could buy another lock/key combo.

                                                                I believe the same, and it is pretty logical, I would not give the key to the wearer. It is a contradiction.

                                                                It is a hard situation due even if she buys a belt and has the keys, the feeling would be very different of depend and trust in a keyholder.

                                                                        Jen You should never choose your parents as keyholder. You know, you can't trust your mother. In my opinion parents are always the wrong keyholder because of the power imbalance between parents and children. It mostly ends in abuse of power.You can break off a relationship with anyone else. But you have your parents for a lifetime. If you want to experiment, find a friend. Ask your parents to open the lock and buy a lock for your own for test.

                                                                          i'll try to argue from your parents' point of view. you could have a spare key made and hide it. that would counteract the whole system of the chastity belt.

                                                                                  I think such a gesture would help you to feel that chastity wasn't a stressful or crazy idea.

                                                                                  I think it does make a lot of sense. To give informed consent, it is reasonable for you to find out what wearing a belt is actually like. And it is far better to test the belt a little each day over, say, a month than it would be to suddenly to try it for three days straight and end up sore and stressed out.

                                                                                  I had the key for my belt for months before I decided to give it up. Even then it wasn't an all or nothing thing, at first.
