                                  That started especially in the Corona period, very often when I was bored, which was often the case at that time. 2-6 times a day.

                                  The cages weren't safe and i wasn't consistent enough to wear them. The problem is, when I had the cage on for 3-5 days, I used the key. When school exams followed, it was superfluous. (the same would be with the belt now if I had the key)

                                            Did not necessarily mean that kink would be your motivation, more that someone (e.g. your mom) would think that it was a kink thing. But bringing up your grades and how they improved after you bought your devices probably did a lot to allay that worry.

                                                  This is the crux of the problem in relationships where the parent is the keyholder, especially in the case of a minor or young adult still in the parent's actual custody. The power of the parent and the power of the keyholder intertwine and reinforce each other, which raises the risk of its abuse.

                                                    I've never experienced a parent as a keyholder, but in all cases I'd suggest that you do your best not to bug your keyholder about the belt. It's something you want, for your life, and it's something you can learn to wear permanently with very little maintenance.

                                                    Their role is simple and in the job description: to hold the keys.

                                                      In all seriousness, now that warnings will do no good, congratulations on getting what you wanted. You have joined the ranks of the truly securely belted and you can expect to be chaste for a long time. (Personally, I’d urge you to either give up those monthly breaks or stay strictly supervised during them, but I’m an extremist that way, lol.)

                                                      It will change everything — among other things, you’ve limited your relationship options and given your mom essential veto power over your spouse — but it can be very fulfilling. And I understand the temptation; I recently transitioned as an adult to being full-time belted by my parental figure, and I think I will be happy with it, but I also spent literal years considering it.

                                                              thanks for describing your situation. I have now read the posts here and would like to take a step back from the discussion as to whether it is a good thing that your mother takes the keys, but I have one question. should it be worn 24/7 or should you have breaks?

                                                              i personally don't see a direct connection between masturbating and school performance either, in my view giving up masturbation completely does not automatically lead to better grades at school (you're welcome to discuss that, it's just my experience). but what can work is a system like the sister of @Lukas. In short, it means that you get breaks based on what grades you get in school, which keeps you motivated to study, knowing that if you get good grades, you'll get opportunities to masturbate 🙂
