bdsamm I am not really understanding the arguments here. Christine is a 25 year old adult woman in the United States and unless she is incapacited for some reason she is capable of living on her own and making her own decisions. Maybe Mother will want her to wear a belt for Mother's comfort but, still up to Christine.

If she is living at her Mothers and is going to be evicted there are plenty of organizations that will intervene since she has been living there for some time and can't just be summarily kicked out.

Now in my mind there are several good reasons for her to wear a belt. Sexual Assault, bad Date, chance of too much alcohol and possibly she can be convinced of that by cooler heads. If she was nearby I would try.

Avery Sorry Avery. I was just addressing the thread in general. I will say though that from my own personal experience, Parents have a lot of responsibility for minor children in the US. Parents are expected to exert consideral control of their minor children and if the fail, may have financial risk. Do they have the right to lock metal underwear on them? Probably not. But if coercion is used with reward that are viewed favorablly it is probably legal. I bought my children cars and they were pretty cooperative on most issues. (No metal underwear involved.)

It'd be hard (for me, anyway) to codify what actions toward your children are legal and not, but it seems parents can dictate behaviors but not the physical bodies of their children. You can't beat them or chain them up or, I think, lock them up in a chastity cage. Nor, I think, can you watch your daughter shower, which has been described here, though not recently, as part of the chastity guarding process. But you can ground her if you catch her pleasuring herself. So maybe there's a line there, control behaviors but hands off the physical person.

I wonder if it could depend on where in the country you live. Massachusetts, where I live, is very liberal (Kennedys, Elizabeth Warren) and politically correct. If you literally chained her here I would bet Channel 7 news would descend on you, child services, maybe the cops. I don't know. Sorry you had such a serious problem.

so somehow i imagine my father standing in court because of the thing with me and instead of 2 years in prison, getting 2 years in a chastity belt. somehow i would even like that.

so at least in germany it is not possible for the parents to do something like that. however, the parents can apply to the court to have their daughter committed to a closed clinic or a reformatory or something similar. but there the state has control. so it is possible to have one's own children locked up, but only if it is done under state supervision.

That's actually wrong.
A psychiatric clinic is for dealing with mentally ill patients and the criteria for a someone being admitted to a locked down ward where he / she cannot leave is based on the risk of harming oneself or another person.
This is completely different from guardianship. Like parents are the legal guardians of their u der age children, a court can appoint a guardian for a person over the legal age of maturity (18 in Germany) and whether or not strong measures taken by a guardian are acceptable is always a case by case decision.
You could for example argue that normally putting someone in a belt should be illegal, but this again would be determined based on an individual case. If a guardian can, for example, demonstrate he havs exhausted less restrictive measures and was unable to achieve the necessary control to actually protect the person under Guardiansip, a court might well rule that use of a cb was actually justified.

I any case it is impossible to predict what a court decision would be without knowing each and every detail of that case.

Please note the recent case of Britney Spears. Her Father got himself appointed Guardian for her and was able to have an IUD inserted and prevent her from having it removed. She dealth with this situation for several years. And she is an adult. It took her years to get released from that Guardianship. Maybe a Chastity Belt is not so far fetched????

Yes, if the husband allow it to them. But if girls wear, mothers have to wear.
If mothers wear it, girls should wear it too, but it is not so mandatory.

Oh no need to say sorry, it's not immediately obvious that there may be any romantic aspect to male chastity or to chastity in general at a later stage in life.

The site often points out the negatives and supports those who need it, but there's a lot that's positive to chastity belt usage that goes unsaid. I think any commitment we make to improve ourselves or be better for our significant others is amazing. Putting a lock on such a change simply means you're serious.
