Laura It IS your choice. You have a job and (I hope for you) money. So you can move out whenever you want. How long will you be belted? Till the age of 30, 35, 40 or until your parents pass away and you inherit the keys to your belt and a house filled with loneliness?
When is the right time to start your own life? How long will you wait? It won't become easier to find a partnert and the belt is an additional burden. I would not start a relationship with a girl belted by her parents. Not because of sex, but because of other reasons. I would always have one question in my mind: 'Does she love me, or will she marry me to get rid of the belt?' Maybe I'm expressing myself a little too directly, then please excuse me. I am German and I try to explain something in a foreign language without hurting you, which would be difficult for me in my mother tongue.
even virgins can find partners
a_father So you can move out whenever you want.
@Laura you no longer live at home? (I thought you once said it)
a_father but because of other reasons. I would always have one question in my mind: 'Does she love me, or will she marry me to get rid of the belt?'
maybe you think i am naive now, but i think you can know if your partner really loves you or if there are other reasons behind it. you also imply that girls with belts only get married to be free from belts which is absolutely not true (i am the best example myself)
Saintprudence I feel like the desire to end virginity is not a good reason for marriage!
I agree.
Laura No way
Logical,but not good.
Saintprudence you encounter a partner who both adores you and will make no such request of you.
I hope it for her too.
Saintprudence Not many get a virginal spouse these days.
Right.
All of them were wearing a chastity belt until marriage?
It is why you should try a male chastity belt, not a female one!
Like for several of us.
Angelina even virgins can find partners
Sure.
Vanessa As I told @Saintprudence in another tread: Several men here have told of problems and permanent injuries to use the belt. No health problems happens to female users if the belt is properly adjusted.
a_father You have a job and (I hope for you) money.
And investments.
a_father So you can move out whenever you want.
Yes I can if it's needed
a_father How long will you be belted?
You know it
a_father When is the right time to start your own life?
What for? You still didn't tell me a good reason
Vanessa All of them were wearing a chastity belt until marriage?
Not everybody, but most of them. Females, of course
HHelen as Iβve said before, I have a certain admiration for your dedication to purpose and I wish my own mom had taken the kind of care you are showing.
Saintprudence I have a certain admiration for your dedication to purpose and I wish my own mom had taken the kind of care you are showing.
Thank you. Back to the topic, I'm pretty sure, that age is not an exception.
a_father Till the age of 30, 35, 40
Do you mean, that girls in these ages are hopelessly old?
a_father one reason I started my sunk-cost poll is because I strongly suspect that Laura went into the belt over her own objections but, as time has passed, has come to agree on some level that itβs probably worthwhile to stay belted until marriage because sheβs worn it this long.
Saintprudence Without a partner she will never marry. The belt doesn't make it easier.
a_father The belt doesn't make it easier.
A belt only prevents sex, but not relationships.
@Christine and @Abby82
you both understood it. that's why i can only guess @Laura. don't let your lifestyle talk you out of it, but if you are really looking for a partner become active yourself, but make sure that your partner at least accepts this lifestyle
@a_father @Renita @Abby82 @Laura A quote from wikipedia:
"Delayed gratification, or deferred gratification, describes the process that the subject undergoes when the subject resists the temptation of an immediate reward in preference for a later reward. Generally, delayed gratification is associated with resisting a smaller but more immediate reward in order to receive a larger or more enduring reward later. A growing body of literature has linked the ability to delay gratification to a host of other positive outcomes, including academic success, physical health, psychological health, and social competence."
