Unfortunately, of all companies Fancysteel managed to make the worst default implementation of rings I can imagine, at all. Instead of the nicely foldable D-Rings, almost everyone else manages to add (incl. the cheap, mass-producing Chinese manufacturers), fancysteel choose to add O-Rings on these "fancy" cantilevers π€ , protruding no matter what you do π . I guess they someone intended to somehow bolster their uniqueness with that design, yet I wish they made it more practical instead. :-/ Actually, I think their move completely fired backwards. As mentioned above ( https://unwedchastity.org/d/724-can-the-cable-on-the-neosteel-be-detached-while-wearing-it/113 ), you are not the only one who considered it a nuisance...
I hope the model you preferred more actually - and Neosteel as a whole - become available again, soon. I'd consider not having them in the game a serious loss for the community. (Well unless one works for their rivals, I suppose.) If you have to stick to the FS for longer, you might get back to Ines's and her solution to replace/upgrade rings on their own. Although you might then face the very problems, I wrote my note ( https://unwedchastity.org/d/553-d-rings/115 ) about.
Don't get me wrong. I absolute can understand your choice to really get your belt - and get it soon - than to wait indefinitely longer. There is much to learn and experience, anyway. Besides, the cable-based design of the FS comes with their very own characteristics. And if you can afford to be among the elite of users to have different belts at their disposal, in the future, all the better.
Wish you all the best. And tell us, when your FS has arrived!
BTW / Off-Topic:
They have different shield styles. Wanted to ask which one you selected, but I guess we'll better outsource to separate FS thread. ...
