You can try it to convince them,if you want to try it.Trust you by giving you the keys during your trying,if they want you to trust them if you decide to continue wearing after(without having the keys,so).But remember the feelings would be very different.

Except if,as @Jonas suggested,the lock and the keys are changed after the trying,if she decides to wear it.
Jonas And it is far better to test the belt a little each day over, say, a month than it would be to suddenly to try it for three days straight and end up sore and stressed out.
That's why we advice for a training before wearing it.

Generally,we can take off/change our clothes without needing a key!😉
