There's "accidentally" locking your belt and finding out what chastity is actually like.
There's being very careful not to lock your belt and maintaining personal control.
And then there's the conflict between the two.

Are you going to lock it with your parent's padlock or with your own padlock? It's really good that you are taking as much time as you need to fit the belt properly, but I am worried you'll seal your fate by mistake very soon.
In case you wondered, the next sentence of the story said, "She gently fingered the bolt, wondering what it would be like...

There's a point where the fit is basically ok and comfort only develops with wear time as the body adapts.

As much as I approve of the ideal of chastity, I don't want @Jen to be freaked when all this leads her into the situation where she has to ask to be unlocked.

For the life of me I do not understand why you have the lock even near your belt. Surely it is so obvious that you would remove it, put it in a drawer (or the rubbish bin) and hold the belt by wrapping a thick strand of something like copper wire around the locking beg, or through the locking peg. With the malleable copper wire together so it holds in place. Or tape the damned thing together with duct tape of even Scotch tape. Even purchase your own lock and use that. But keeping the lock in place waiting for an accident is just ridiculous.
Or is this just leading up to a story of "Wups"?
Foxies by this point, she’s well past the “thinking about it” stage. I’m not saying she WANTS the belt, but in between the increases in wearing, the work to get it to fit, and living dangerously with the lock, it’s at least on her mind.

It DOES seem like she wants the experience of being locked in by someone to the point where she cannot just asked to be unlocked. But it also seems that the last person(s) she wants to be controlled by is a parent. It does seem strange though that she can't just buy a lock, click it shut and mail the keys to herself so she loses control but just for a few days - which is a common story plot line.
Jen, if you read this, I am sorry if I sound harsh. But there are vulnerable youngsters here that you are influencing. Please be careful.

Actually I like this I checked bunnings has copper picture hanging wire. The peg has a groove for the lock so yeah wire could be good.

The parents thing is like a pressure in my head when i think cause it's not fair and like Sin said it's weird but i want like what Ines has - there I said it everyone gonna say don't now. Jen if you want to stay a virgin, which is quite laudable, you can just not have sex. A belt is a pretty extreme way to approach that, let alone parental control when you’re an adult. (Indeed, if you outsource protection of your virginity to a device rather than willpower, it makes you all the more vulnerable if the device fails.)
I sometimes get the impression you’re feeling guilty about the earlier promise you made, but a promise made under duress is not a real promise. I’d urge you to let go of any concern you have there.
